New England Muffin Factory — Restaurant in Southington

The best muffin I think I have ever tasted. I had a grilled Orange Cranberry muffin and Strawberry Rhubarb muffin during my 1st visit to this little spot in Milldale. Fluffy, very big, full of cranberries and nuts, and orange flavor. The Strawberry Rhubarb tasted like strawberries but I would have liked more Rhubarb for more tanginess.

Prices are very reasonable and the ladies are all very friendly and helpful. The downside is there are no tables for eating indoors however there were a few tables outside. Fresh coffee with free refill and many different flavors of coffee and tea for your enjoyment.

Also have breakfast sandwiches, but the muffins are the star of the show here.

My husband did a phone order from work and went to pick up the order and when he returned to work he noticed they didn’t put the muffins in the bag that he already paid for, so he went back and the UNPROFESSIONAL female that took care of him at the front counter was very unprofessional, disrespectful, gave an attitude when he told her the muffins weren’t in the bag. I believe she needs a retraining course on how to deal with customers in general. And for this reason I’m giving this...

Food is good but always a huge inconvenience when I bring home the wrong order 2/3 times I went. Ask and emphasize for no cheese because my wife has a lactose allergy when I get home it’s a bagel with cream cheese both times... and I asked for a sausage and egg with Avocado. Why should I have to touch and open up my sandwiches every time I go before leaving and dissect them to make sure their correct. Just get it right...
