Spirit Halloween — Local services in Spartanburg

Spirit Halloween is in the old JoAnn’s building this year in the same shopping plaza as Big Air. I think it’s better this year than it was last year at the old Bed Bath & Beyond building. There is so much to choose from like costumes, makeup, decorations and scary fog machines. There wasn’t anyone walking around asking people if they needed assistance in the store but I did see employees walking around. I went up front and asked if they sold pet costumes and got some help then but they didn’t sell anything for cats. We didn’t get the girls Halloween costumes this trip but we will be going back on October 17th, 2025 to buy some. I might even get something...

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. It was my first time at a Spirit Halloween. Bought an item on October 30th. Cashier gave me no receipt. Tried to return it for a smaller size the next day the October 31st. Denied because I had no receipt and policy says no returns after October 24th or so. Please save yourself the embarrassment like I couldn’t and ask for a receipt. Also, remember that they will not let you return anything after the 24th of October. Absolutely worst customer service of any store I have ever seen! Went to return a costume and the guy was rude and not very helpful and tried to say they aren’t doing anymore returns. Called customer service and they take them back by mail but when I told the guy in the store this he wouldn’t even ask anyone else or try to help at all, he just kept saying they didn’t take returns. Will never shop here again and I will make sure everyone I know hears about this! Word of mouth spreads like...
