This is usually my favorite store when visiting Spokane. My husband and I were walking around different stores, and he was deciding on a birthday gift for himself. We left, looked around other stores, and he finally decided on a kitchen apron from Booās. Now, I donāt know if it was a customerās, an employeeās, or whatever else but someoneās umbrella was reported stolen since we last went in the store. My husband happens to carry around an umbrella to ease sensory issues with sunlight, and it matched the description of the umbrella that was stolen. He was quickly confronted by some employees who told him that they knew he stole his umbrella, despite my husband telling them repeatedly itās his own umbrella from Home Depot. It was in the middle of the store, and almost sent him into a meltdown. The employees confronting him brashly in front of everyone were really unprofessional about it. If they paid attention, or even looked at surveillance, they would see he had been carrying it around all day. One of the employees gave him a discount for the apron after realizing they were wrong, but it was still a disappointing experience. I hope the employees reflected on how they could handle situations like that more...

One of the employees said it was okay but then the manger came up to me with an angry voice and told me that I had to pay for the statue ($30) and that I should have not touched it. Latter that same day me and my friends went in their to look around and the employees we watching us with their angry faces like we are going to steal something. Overall I think this place has bad customer service I would not go there if you are a clumsy person. The only thing that would change my mid about this place is if I got some sort of apology and most importantly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot as much cool stuff as there used to be. The staff only talks to each other very loudly throwing boxes unpacking stuff was super awkward to be in the middle of it. Thereās a weird sign on the front door demanding anyone who may be wet from the park to dry off, which come on , that many people donāt come in soaking wet that you need to declare it an emergency making it the first sign you see when you walk up, and even if so get a mop or something. Itās almost impossible to get in the store with a stroller and no way a wheelchair could get it . I would work on the staff customer service and welcoming people get rid of the bossy rude sign and fix a door and get some hello kitty stuff more stickers license plates more...
