Atticus Coffee & Gifts — Restaurant in Spokane

The service from the regular employees was great! The manager lady is really mean however. Everytime I come in there I always get an Americano iced with Carmel and cream I like to sit and enjoy my coffee while charging my scooter because I use it for Uber eats that's how I make money and two occasions have happened so far where once I was in there enjoying my coffee I PAID FOR and she had the audacity to come up to me and demand that I leave because "these spots are for paying customers." How VERY RUDE and then today I was in there I was charging my scooter as I normally do and she came up to me and demanded I move it because it was blocking a single chair in the corner there wasn't a lot of people in the coffee shop only a few and plenty of other free spots everywhere if it had got to the point where someone needed that seat I would've moved it happily but she demanded I moved it to a specific spot that was out of my sight where it could've easily have been stolen so I folded it up and put it under my table out of the way of everyone and she said "sir you can either move it to where I said or get out" I HADN'T EVEN FINISHED MY COFFEE I JUST ORDERED 5 MINUTES AGO even the customer next to me said that she was being extremely rude and that her actions were completely unnecessary I was happy at least my fellow customers agreed ive bought coffee from there for months now and now im considering never going back because of the nonstop harassment from the...

Great shop and feel but the angry short lady that works in the coffee area ruins it every time. We’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and the staff that work in the gift area are always so sweet and lovely. Unfortunately the really sweet staff get overshadowed by the rude lady that works in the coffee area every time! The other ladies that work in the coffee are are usually sweet and chatty, however the shorter lady is so incredibly rude all the time. If she’s tired telling visitors to line up away from in front of the coffee machine and pick up area, maybe she needs to introduce a roped off entry line area that makes people just automatically line up where she wants them and not have to be so angry and aggressive with the customers. Yesterday (Saturday 15th April) there were multiple people waiting and commenting on her rudeness and yelling out orders. When people said ‘thank you’ for their orders she didn’t even look up to say ‘you’re welcome’ or ‘enjoy’ like the other staff always do. I will be stepping away from bringing friends and family to the store for coffee because of her rudeness and lack of care with coffee making compared to her other workers who try their best but she’s always rushing them and missing the point of polite friendly interaction to keep business. If it was a one off it would be okay but as regulars and as we walk in to say ‘oh the angry coffee lady’...

Oh how I wish Atticus Coffee & Gifts was near to where I live or somehow I could be near to where they are .. every inch of them speaks of one of those coffee places you would want to come out of a TV series . The place has that look, that feel, absolutely friendly people / baristas behind the counter, awesome food and more importantly that cozy atmosphere .. I am, without a shadow of doubt, a big big fan :)

Apart from that, the shop in the front is so cute .. and those coffee and teas that they sell are absolutely amazing. Also, the vegetarian (lacto veggie) choices of sandwich they have is really amazing .. wife is a vegetarian and it really feels so good.

The other day we had a mocha and tried their fresh brewed tea (mint and lemon) .. shared a pesto cheddar sandwich lightly toasted, everything of which was perfect .. started right from their service btw :) Nothing much else to say, except - A big fan right here :)

PS - also, loved the fact that they stock kambucha .. well for me this kinda variety is being a true tea /...
