I love playing claw machine arcades and frequent different places so I understand the gimmick and novelty of these places (each time is not a guaranteed win etc.) however I’m just so extremely disappointed and upset with my recent visits. I’ve visited this claw machine place a few times starting from back in February. My first time here was amazing, my boyfriend and I won enough plushies to trade up for a labubu that I really wanted at the time and got to even keep some we liked because we won enough. The atmosphere used to be really fun and welcoming. However, recently they’ve become more greedy and have made it much more harder to win which makes returning customers like myself not want to return anymore.
Since then, I’ve visited maybe twice a month and my winnings keep getting lesser and lesser even though I spend $100 each time and am also paying for the membership.
I visited on 05/20/25 and left with two, two(!!!) plushies after spending $100. The claws for each machine were constantly at the weakest setting. Even winning the plushies that were close to the chute were difficult because the claws weren’t grabbing or were dropping them immediately after going back up from the drop. This visit was very upsetting and disappointing.
I decided to give it one more try and visited again 05/22/25 since I had free time. This visit takes the cake for the worst experience ever. This place is so money hungry. Spent another $100 to leave with one singular cheap plushie. Mind you, I went around and tried a few of the plushie machines and each one had its claw setting at its weakest. I noticed their machine payout also increased. Since I pay for the membership and spent $100, I got 170 tokens, that’s 34 tries if I had used all of them on the Labubu machines. I sunk a majority of those tokens into one of the labubu claw machines and did not get a payout win AT ALL. Usually claw machines places like these offer payout wins (a tightened claw grip) as a pity when it hits a certain amount of plays. This time, I just really wanted to win a Big into Energy labubu so if I remember correctly, I used 30/34 of my tries on this one damn machine. Not a single win from that machine. I used the remainder of my tokens on the other plushie machines to test them and as I already mentioned, I only won one singular plushie with the $100 I spent here. Attached is a photo of the cheap plushie I won for $100. The angry Kirby is literally how I feel about this place. I left feeling robbed.
I’ve read all the other bad reviews on there and read a few where people were able to get refunds. I knew that claw machine places dont typically offer refunds so I didn’t even try with an employee at the counter. Claw World owner if you still read these reviews and value returning customers, I hope you reach out and offer me a full reimbursement/refund for my past two disappointing visits because I basically got nothing for the amount...

Read moreThe staff wasn't really welcoming. There was no explanation of how many game play a token, they did not explain the trade up value or if the plushies had different values.
Despite being vocal about the claws not having enough time (15 seconds), the claws jiggles way to much to even get a good idea where it will land.
When the claw does land on the prize its noticeable how the claw doesnt even begin to grip the prize. In essences, it simply places the claw on the prize and simply lifts up, it doesnt actually grip.
At one point, there was a prize that was attempted 16 times, with no win. There was a worker watching the interaction and did nothing. Didnt offer encouragements, advise, tips, reseting the plush when it got stuck, nothing in the slightest. Simply stared and stood there and watched us, even followed us through the store.
The prizes themselves werent really appealing, with most being quiet ambiguous a shiba head, frog head, carrot. The consolation prizes aren't any better, they look like dog toys bought from the store...
There were multiple times when family would leave near empty handed with no interaction from any worker.
As we were leaving they were rather desperate for likes and follow on social media.
Update: Since the owner is claiming they reviewed their video recordings and 'found no evidence' of my visit I have uploaded more pictures and a video of my visit that day. This time, I've included the prize upgrade walls with misleading signage. You can visually see how much the claw shakes and how it loses grip on the Pikachu, you can hear us saying it took us 11 tries just for that alone. Now, I'm not saying it should be guaranteed win, of course not, but its a little ridiculous when you only have 15 seconds to try an position a bad claw only for it to lose grip mid way. The owner claims to want to discuss this matter, yet has no issue checking their recordings and still not seeing us. Perhaps, these pictures and videos will help clear the...
