From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and hospitable welcome by the staff. Their genuine passion for serving authentic Chicago flavors was immediately apparent, and it only served to further pique my interest. The spacious seating area was particularly noteworthy, as it seemed perfect for a delightful family gathering or a fun-filled night out with friends. The lively atmosphere only added to the overall experience, culminating in a truly memorable meal.
Upon taking my seat at the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary bruschetta appetizer that immediately caught my attention. It was a truly thoughtful gesture that I deeply appreciated and it set a positive tone for the rest of my dining experience. It had been a while since I had encountered such exceptional customer service and it made me truly happy to be there. Throughout my visit, I found myself constantly smiling and thoroughly enjoying the overall ambiance and quality of the establishment.
The menu at Amore Taste of Chicago is a symphony of Windy City classics. The deep-dish pizzas are a revelation, boasting a heavenly combination of a buttery, flaky crust and generous layers of savory toppings. I couldn't resist the "Chicago Personal Deep Dish" with its mouthwatering topping of pepperoni. Each bite took me straight to the heart of Chicago. Despite its small size, it left me feeling full to the point of being unable to stand.
The culinary joy doesn't stop there. The cheddar cheese and bacon fries were a scrumptious appetizer that made me lose track of time. It left me lost in its flavors and textures. Every bite was a delectable delight, and I couldn't help but reach for more, hoping for an endless supply to savor the taste even longer.
At Amore Taste of Chicago, the dedication to excellence goes beyond just the food. The service is exceptional, with staff members who prioritize your needs and dining requests. They are passionate about ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Read morePros: There are TV's everywhere and most were very large so you can watch the games from anywhere that you're sitting. We got seated right away and the girl that seated us was nice. We never sat with our cups empty Cons: We said we needed a min to order and I think the girl forgot about us (which happens) because it took awhile before she came back to us and I could see her at the front talking with the hostess and another server so it wasn't because she was busy. My 14 yr old ordered the personal deep dish pizza which I wish I would've looked at on the menu myself because then I would've been prepared that the deep dish takes a very long time. I was not warned by the server so I wasn't aware we would be waiting so long for our food. I saw several tables that came in long after we had ordered, get seated, place their order, get their food and be almost finished before the server came by and told us it would be about another 5-8 min for our food. 15 min later I asked for a manager. It took a min for the manager to be located and by then I was done, so I was in the process of getting up to leave when the manager showed up. She listened to my calm but very frustrated rant in which she told me that my server warned me that it would be 30 min for the pizza when we ordered (we sat for about 40 min for it). I made her aware she never told me that to which she replied it was written in the menu, which again, I wish I would have seen that but I don't eat pizza so I never even glanced at pizza options to have read that. She also condescendingly told me I was impatient and angry because I was hungry (mind you, I was never rude, but I was frustrated). Yes, i was hungry, I came in hungry, but wasn't frustrated when I came in. I ended up frustrated after 4 tables came in after we had already ordered, (one was a larger party that I was told ordered their food before arriving...smart) they all got their food before us! We finally get our food and the pizza was super small, even for a personal pizza so I wanted to laugh at how long it took for us to get this super baby size pizza. The server also told me my food would have taken 25 min because it's a fresh patty (I ordered a hamburger) I have cooked fresh patties a lot, and never had it take 25 min. Whatever. I will definitely just be grateful for this learning experience and just won't go back which I know is no sweat off their back. I do think it's a place that most people would enjoy for sure though, just be aware that you will wait awhile for your...
Read moreLet me share the good first the food is outstanding prices are fair. I have been going for years well before the remodel I’m not a regular but I order food or stop in about 6 times a year. I stoped in about a month ago bought a pizza and had a beer at the bar while I waited I really like the remodel thought it was outstanding in and out 5 mins. Called a few friends to set up a guys night for MNF. 8 of us show up to find out they are closed for MNF. REMIND YOU THIS IS A SPORTS BAR & RESTAURANT. We left very disappointed and went to Buffalo Wild Wings. Fast forward to today. I was driving by and stoped in to watch some college football. Soon as I walked in I noticed the 4 best seats for viewing the tvs at the bar are being occupied by the waitresses there were personal drinks all laid out. I sat at the end of the bar so now tvs are 180 degrees to my left. At one time they had 4 waitresses and the manager sitting at the bar and the waitresses were eating food in between bites running plates of food to customers. I found it a little annoying. At one tpoint they all were eating food at the bar. The topic of discussion was not appropriate for employees to be talking about in front of customers I asked for my check and left. Pros vs cons Pros food is ready good. Cons When food arrived I was not given silverware napkins or condiments I had to reach over the bar for a napkin and ate with my hands.
Giant tvs playing sports with sound off and loud music playing. Over 10 tvs only playing one hockey game and one college game. Again no sound on tvs music playing.
With my check a sign taped on my bill cash preferred $1.00 charge to run my debit card. Very tacky and $1.00 insulting.
Bar area should be for patrons not employed staff to hang out and do there hair. One waitress redid her pony tail at the bar went to kitchen walked out with a plate of food for a customer no hand washing. Gross
No Monday night football for a sports bar and restaurant...
