This place is so big but so utterly unorganized that itās overwhelming. But the worst aspects are the employees. They do not speak to you EVER. Iāve been there 3 times and actually made a purchase ONCE. And Iām a shopaholic. My most recent and final visit was this past Friday. The manager and another male employee guarding the front door, not sure what they were guarding against considering I was one of I believe three people in the store. They didnāt speak to me when I walked in the door, even though they were directly in front of the door. Then, as I progressed through the store, the second male employee followed me aroundā peeking at me from the end of aisles. Practically stalking me. And treating me like an assumed thief. Then, as I was wrapping up my visit and progressing towards the front, another employee, a female, was in the very far corner of the store. She announced from a good 25 feet away to me only that the store was going to be closing in 10 minutes and I needed to get up to the register now. She asked me if I was looking for the one other shopper in the store, which I was not because I came there alone. I actually had a set of bedsheets in my cart that I was going to purchase, but after that, I threw them in a cart full of stuff that was being put back, and I walked towards the exit of the store. The male manager, still guarding the front door, looked at me and said ā is that it?ā to which I replied āYepā, and I walked out. As I said at the beginning of this review, I am a shopaholic. When I find a store, I frequent it almost daily. The people at Ross āboth locationsāand Burlingtonā both locations in Springfield, know me by name because Iām there so much. I spend tens of thousands of dollars a year with these companies. Gabeās lost a very good customer in treating me like an annoying thief rather than greeting me and welcoming me into...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store used to be somewhat organized and you were able to find what you needed in the clothing sections, but I guess the company just doesn't care about how the store looks anymore because it's a complete disaster. Don't even bother going off the sizing signs they have on the racks because everything is just thrown everywhere and you could have all sized mixed together..You have to look at each tag to make sure it's actually the size you need. In the boys section you could have newborn, 6 month, toddler sized, and big kid sizes all on the same rack! Even though the rack may say size 5t, it's horrible!! You can't even look through the clothes because everything is just thrown on there and it's so overcrowded that you can't even slide the clothes to see the one you're trying to look at! Like they just don't care and are throwing everything out there with no thought about how it may be hard for a customer to actually find something. It's way too overwhelming to shop here because of how chaotic everything it. It's truly disappointing because I wanted this to be my new go to place, but it's just too unorganized and too hard to find what you're looking for. I wish the employees would take the time to make things looks nice so the store can actually be shoppable. Not to mentioned the amount of clothing that's on the floor under every rack...Very trashy tacky terrible looking store. This should be reported to corporate!!! CLEAN...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday was our third time to this store. We had about 20 minutes to kill and was looking for a few snacks. What a mess. Walked in. Long line at register however fairly empty store. Stuff everywhere, on the ground, etc. Several items without prices. I turned and spotted a woman moving some shelves. I asked her if she worked there and she said yes. We asked about the prices and she said she did not know. That we just take what we want to the register and ask. If we don't want it leave it at the register. Ok, not a very common procedure and a possible waste of time so decided not to do that. We grabbed some cheese it's, a drink and a bag of candy. Went to the register to check out. All the prices of the three items totaled up to approximately $5. While the cashier was scanning, we could not see the prices. She then said $10.49 was the total. I said thst doesn't seem right and had to show her the prices. The drink that was priced $1.42 rang up for over $5. She fixed it and was friendly. I'm glad we paid attention. I wonder how many others just pay and don't think to make sure. On our way out the manager was by the door. I told him about the prices not being on so many items. He said they havnt had the chance to mark them. He also said you just bring them to the register. Lastly, alot of items are higher here than walmart and target. Buyer beware if you choose to shop here. As far as discount stores go, we're not impressed and...
