Bought my girlfriend a Luis Vuitton bag from Dillardâs from an associate named Keith not once did he tell us the bag I spent 2000 dollars on was a second hand bag that was 22 years old. When my girlfriend asked about spots on the tan part of the bag Keith said â it was spots from âairâ aging the leather and it was normal Patina. We asked if he had one that wasnât a display model he looked and came back and said he didnât have another one. Leaving us with obvious impression it was new. so I bought what he had. Never once was I told it was a second hand bag. When I called I was told that thereâs no returns bc on the receipt it says itâs a second hand bag. However I have to buy the bag to get a receipt. When I called and talked to a manager she told me that I had to call what goes around comes around to complain about the bag. But my problem was with Dillards and the fact they never once disclosed that I was buying a second hand bag. Now Iâm stuck with a 2000 dollar purse I literally canât stand to look at I spent 4000 dollars in the store that day and the blamed me for not looking to see if it was second hand but I have never stepped foot into a mall and thought I had to examine my purchases to see if I was getting something used. Itâs âthe mall not platos closet or a good will.â I spent 4000 dollars that day on clothes for my daughter and my girlfriend including the purse I took everything back except the purse obviously since the refuse to take responsibility for there employees (Keith) hiding the fact that theyâre selling second hand stuff that is mixed in with new coach and other purse brands. I will never step foot in the store ever again and plan on hiring a lawyer for there shady business practices. I have also called the better business bureau. I highly recommend others not buying anything from them because they do not stand behind there products. They lie about what theyâre selling you, make up stories to sell you something instead of telling you the truth. I feel like I bought a fake bag from a side walk vendor. Every time I walk past the bag I get mad because (Keith) had 45 minutes while we were there to tell us it was a second hand bag. His direct manager is a joke and will spend the rest of her life flipping burgers at McDonaldâs when Iâm done suing Dillards. I have since ordered a new Luis Vuitton bag for my girlfriend because I refuse to look at this rip off...
Read moreExpired foundation with 2X the shipping fees. I purchased a foundation and the store didnât have my shade so they ordered to shipped to my home. The shipment was pretty fast. However, I received the foundation in mid July and the product happened to expired that same month. I went back to the store and was told they didnât have that same shade to do the exchange but that they would be able to process a return and reorder. The transaction took a while to complete. The salesperson then gave me a sample of the foundation (my shade) to hold me through the next fews days until my foundation comes in. When the transition hit my bank account, I noticed the prices difference and thatâs when I looked at the receipt-see that I was charged a shipping fee again. The return was only for the cost of the foundation. Today I finally called the customer service number listed on the customer receipt label. I learned that I will need to dispute my case with the store since this was not an online transaction. Be aware that the store as a whole will not support how business is being conducted: online vs store and perhaps the specific store of your purchase. Additionally, I learned that it was the store that shipped me the expired foundation. The customer service takes no accountability the expired product or the double charged in shipping fees. I will definitely think twice before returning...
Read moreWow is all I can say. This Dillards location is the largest and nicest Dillards I've ever been to. I didn't spend as much time as I would've liked, but what I did get to see was quite posh. The beauty section had some high end products I've never seen before in person. For example they had the tester bottles out for the entire line of fine fragrances from Tom Ford and I finally got to smell all of them because I had only tried maybe 3 or 4 others in the past. Their handbags were amazing. They had the usual Michael Kors, Coach, Dooney and Bourke, Patricia Nash, etc., but they had some amazing vintage Louis Vuitton and Gucci handbags and luggage and I actually got to pick some of them up and try them out. That's the closest I will ever be to a Gucci backpack or a Louis Vuitton duffle bag. Lol. From what I did see they carried some beautiful clothing options for women and in the other side of the store (they are so big they are on opposite sides of the mall) was the men's section and they seemed to have a great selection ad well. They had Lacoste, Michael Kors, Polo/Ralph Lauren, Psycho Bunny, etc. I definitely reccomend if you want to know what is considered in style high end clothing you need to go inside of this Dillards to at least see...
