I'm relatively new to warhammer and the construction/painting of mini figures. That be one said, I will be coming back here frequently. When I first came, I met a passionate clientele that was happy to help me explore this new interest, as well as probably the most knowledgeable and helpful staff of anywhere I've ever been. The actual store had space to build, paint, and even use any models, and Richard (the owner) personally helped teach me all about every aspect of the hobby. He gave me lessons to build and paint, all for free. And he seemed enthusiastic to get someone else interested in the hobby that he clearly has a passion for. Read moreI wish I could rate higher than five stars! My son and I visited for the first time last week, and Richard was friendly, enthusiastic, and so helpful in introducing us to Warhammer. The other players in the store were also warm and welcoming, and answered our questions ranging from faction preferences to advice on how to transport minis. The store itself is well laid out and has a comprehensive selection of minis, books, accessories, and everything else needed for the hobby. I have been to multiple Warhammer and Games Workshop stores and Richard has the best balance of being relatable, a good salesman (using charm rather than being pushy), a true fan of the hobby, and a man capable of juggling customers, intros, answering rule questions for gaming, etc. Games Workshop found someone who is truly capable of wearing every hat one of their associates must wear when running one of their stores.
