Memory Lane Vintage Mall — Local services in Stillwater

I feel like the selection was better before they moved to the newest location. There’s stuff for sale that isn’t vintage at all. The last location had, in my opinion, a highly curated selection of furniture. High quality, good condition name-brand furniture. There’s at least two booths selling AI generated stuff. One of those booths is also just selling stuff from Temu, cheap plastic purses with figural shapes. It’s an interesting choice to put those for sale in a vintage store. Theres sections of the store that are entirely disheveled. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still great things to buy, but nowhere near the curated collection they had before moving. Lots of good glassware, lamps, some clothing. The prices are OK, not the cheapest. I do come back in hopes of them having a better selection, but usually there’s still the same things for sale. They are now, in my opinion, on par with Antique Mall in town. Yesterday I came by for the outdoor market, it didn’t live up to my expectations at all. It seemed like a flea market. Lots of glassware, someone selling stuff made from wood, and a booth with a lot of earrings. I really expected them to have some dealers with good, vintage items for sale. At the register, a lady cashier started to belittle her coworker as I was standing there. It was really uncomfortable for me. I didn’t know what to do aside from stand there and wait for them to work whatever was going on out. I understand it was busy, but the cash register area is very open and not private whatsoever. I feel like there are better options to discuss your grievances with the check out process with your coworker. I’m still going to return despite the selection being lackluster and the staff being snappy, but maybe not as frequently as I used to. :/ The store used to be way different from the Stillwater Antique Mall, but now I feel it’s...
