Havertys Furniture Outlet — Local services in Stonecrest

Over the years, we have bought furniture that we have seemingly had to replace year after year after year. When we finally decided to go to Haverty's Furniture, it was because we were tired of having to replace inferior quality. We are in the process of adoption and one of the requirements is to have all of our liquor locked up. In order to do this, we needed a piece of furniture that could serve as a our new liquor cabinet.

We started our look at the typical stores like Wal-Mart and Target and decided that if we were going to have to spend over $300, we would need better quality. So, we went to Ashley Furniture. We figured since half of our furniture came from there, we would be ok. We walked around and around and they had absolutely NOTHING that could be used as a liquor cabinet.

We took Our search to American Signature Furniture thinking that this would be higher quality. While they did have what we want, it did not exactly fit our needs. While we were there, we found a sectional that we "wanted". We agreed to come back and buy it, but by the time we were in the parking lot, we decided that it would not be a piece that we were satisfied with. So, we moved on to Haverty's Furniture.

Now, the minute we walked in, I knew the quality was there. Vivian Taylor greeted us close to the front door after we had started to walk around. We were under the impression they might all be busy and we did not know if we were in the right place or not. So, the tour started. We figured buying a dining room hutch would be the ONLY option. We looked at about 10 of them and then i say three cabinets in the back. I walked away from the group and started looking. There were 4 cabinets and one by one, we found reasons to eliminate them. Then, there was 1. We settled on it with the help of Vivian.

We decided that it was time to buy a new sectional. We looked around and looked around and then we found the one, but when the price was announced, my better half said no way. So we kept looking. We found another that he was interested in and it was $200 less. We talked and talked about settling. Then I made the point of getting what we want versus settling. We decided it was time to quit settling.

Michelle M at the stonecrest location was so pleasant and welcoming. I went when the store was about to close and she treated me and my daughter with patience and grace. We didnt get anything at that time because I didnt find the stools that I was looking for but she did take the time to put me I the system. After going to 5 different furniture stores that night her spirit stayed with me. The other stores customer service was awful. My daughter is in Macon GA and told me about Havertys outlet. She met Mr. Whipple and he to was so kind and patient with her. We found a unique table that I spotted over the phone thru FaceTime and he helped her set up everything so that I can drive fro. Conyers to Macon the next day. I called him to let him know I was on the way but I was in a serious rush due to my daughter's college basketball game. He had everything up front all I had to do is walk in and pay. He took my keys while I was paying and he and another pleasant gentleman loaded it up so that I can be on my way. I plan to visit again and again due to the excellent customer service I ...

Poor Product & Even Worse Customer Service.

After only two months of ownership, the recliner began to lean to the side and was visibly made with poor quality materials.

I reached out to customer service about my product and the issues and they had a technician come out and order a part that would take 3 WEEKS to come in. The technician came out and repaired what he presumed to be the issue but upon installation the chair was STILL BROKEN. The technician was very rude and nonchalant about the entire process. He left with the job unfinished. Now, I have to wait ANOTHER 3 WEEKS for a DIFFERENT part to arrive. All of this is within 6 months of owning this chair.

I would NOT recommend this product. Don't bother purchasing from here, take your business elsewhere.
