Catherine and Scarlett (make-up and perfume) I could go on and on about the spectacular experience these ladies provided for my daughter and I, but I will shorten it for this review. From the moment we got there, Scarlett (who is absolutely adorable) was helping us. She was patient and knowledgeable as she showed my daughter the best make-up for her skin, helped her find the right color and also the best deal. She then took her to find the best fragrance. All of this took a good amount of time but she was amazing!
At first, Catherine was in and out whenever Scarlett had a question. I knew right away, Catherine was also friendly and patient just by the way she interacted with Scarlett. I looooved that. Later, Catherine came to help me. I wasn't there to buy anything but then I had a few questions. Next thing you know, she is teaching me about make-up and skincare, in general. I learned so much from her. I even told her that I didn't think Estee Lauder made make-up for people of color but she started showing me the products that she uses- teaching me the whole way. She gave me samples and labeled them so I would know where they went on my face and what to ask for when I come back. Our experience really was awesome and it made our day.

Read moreMother's day weekend. Was sitting in the car in Macy's parking lot waiting on family members to arrive and this family caught my eye. Or was it the man's green underwear???? Anyway I realized how long it had been since I've been outside or shopping in person and how things have changed and how much I work!! Also how most older women don't want to let others see how gray their hair is and now we wear it boldly in our twenties and thirties... Went shopping with my mom, sister and neice. Hmmmm not sure that will happen again anytime soon either. Lol. Just hate shopping when I don't know what i want. But my neice hit me up for a couple of items....so at least one of us knew what we wanted. Check out lady was lazy - there was no tag on an item and she wanted to charge me anything (higher price of course) until a manager came over to assist. Told her to read and enter the garment tag numbers...she said they were too small. Manager entered the info, price was less and she gave me a discount for my pain and suffering. Is this the right job for the store check out lady???? Hmmmm I will continue to do my shopping online for a liitle...
Read moreVery disappointed in the Mac service I received today. The customer service has truly went down hill. I’m leaving this review as a learning experience for Kiana. I greeted her in an empty Mac counter with “hey I’d like to get some makeup today”. Her response was okay what did you need to get. She definitely missed the mark by not even saying hey, how are you?. I begin to tell her what I needed. She didn’t ask any investigation questions, didn’t ask about my skin and I left with only what I came in for. Not to mention, I arrived without makeup on. This was a great opportunity to really find out more about me and make me spend more money. Mac was the area that made you leave with a bag full. The item I came in for was discontinued. All she did was show me the replacement. I left without knowledge of what this new product was and how it would replace my previous product. I give it a 1/10. I could’ve gotten a better experience online. I hope her distract manager or regional trainee sees this and sends her back to basic training to get all the tools she needs to be a mac girl of service. This shows a bad rejection on...
