The Country Store on Main — Local services in Stowe

I really enjoyed my visit to The Country Store on Main! This shop has such a cozy and inviting vibe, with a fantastic selection of products that showcase the best of Vermont. I found delicious maple candies, a beautiful handwoven scarf, and some locally made soap that smells amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making the shopping experience even better. We made a quick stop in Stowe's small, but absolutely picturesque village. I opted to park behind the store in the town lot.

This store features a lot of great home goods and decor. We spotted plates, cookware, lotions, soaps, pillows, blankets and a plethora of beautiful items.

Some great gift ideas from here include cook books, note cards and much more. Additionally, there was a very nice selection of candles here.

Beautiful store but very unfriendly staff. I came in at the end of the day on Saturday (ya know, shop small business Saturday) and the young women working in the store were very unfriendly. No one said hello, asked us if we were looking for anything, etc. They just walked around and by us in silence. The store was not busy either - only another couple in the store. I would have purchased some things but I won't buy in a store where the staff refuses to be friendly...
