Go Stowe Visitor Information Center — Attraction in Stowe

We stopped in the Visitor Center today as we arrived in Stowe. It is our first time visiting this area. We travel full time and always stop at Visitor Centers first and get great advice on where to go, eat, etc. I have to say, the lady working today was the absolute most unfriendly person we've ever encountered across the country at the hundreds of VCs we've visited. She ignored us and when we asked questions she seemed annoyed and only answered as bluntly as possible. We were stunned. My last question was suggestions on where she recommended eating. She handed me a printed piece of paper with all the restaurants listed on it with their hours. We have Google, we asked for a recommendation, not a print out. She is the absolute last person I would ever put as the face of Stowe. She needs to be working in the back and definitely not interfacing with the public. This is typically an extremely outgoing, enthusiastic and welcoming person's position. She was none of those things. So disappointed and we are hoping this isn't the norm for this...

What a nasty person! I cannot believe the treatment this so called lady gave my family and I. My wife greeted her and she did not have the decency to look up and acknowledge us. Then within a few minutes of our visit my 14 year old pulled down her mask down for a few seconds. When suddenly, the sole Visiting Welcome Center employee rudely asked my daughter to pull her mask up and leave it up.
