Farm Home Marketplace — Local services in Stowe

We had an incredibly positive experience working with the Farm Home Co. on some renovations and redesign for our Stowe ski condo. Not only did all of the projects wrap up on time, but we stayed within our budget and the process was actually so pleasant and fun! Lisa and Tyson are a great team, and having them both working together on and coordinating our projects (we converted an indoor hot tub into a family mudroom/laundry room, repainted our entire condo and redesigned some of the rooms, and added some new features such as a custom toy closet for our kids) seemed to make things go more smoothly and more efficiently. The duo really took the time to get to know our family, needs and tastes, and the result is a much improved home that just feels like us but that would have been impossible for us to design/outsource on our own.

Lisa has such a good eye; she managed to combine high-end furniture pieces with more budget-friendly options to create a look and price point that we're really happy with (and that, not surprisingly, was an attempt to emulate The Farm Home's style!). More importantly, she presented us with just a few options for everything (for example, just three shades of white for paint color) but she took the time to narrow things down for us so that we wouldn't be overwhelmed in the process. She really listened to feedback and kept researching/designing until she knew we were completely satisfied with the final product- which never took long, because she has a knack for studying clients' spaces to really get a feel for what they'll love.

Lisa and Tyson are both hardworking, smart and fair people who both have a good sense of humor and a genuine passion for what they do, which made having them in and out of our house for upwards of three months so much easier and less stressful. I would highly highly recommend the two of them and their company for any project, big or small! Five stars...

My family and I stayed at The Farm Home in June and had such a wonderful family vacation. From the moment you enter the home, Lisa and Tyson have thought of every detail to make your stay at their house one you’ll never forget. They greet you with a personalized welcome message, the kitchen is stocked with everything a family would need, the home is meticulous and each and every room is decorated beautifully. The beds are incredibly comfortable and my 2 daughters couldn’t get over the lovely bunk room.

The location of The Farm Home can’t be beat. We walked to the village to get coffee (and of course visit the Penny Candy counter), rode bikes around the bike path while making pit stops at many of the amazing restaurants just minutes from the house. There is hiking, mountain biking, tubing in the river and so much more literally minutes the house. My family has been raving to anyone and everyone about our stay at The Farm Home and we can’t wait to visit again (maybe in the winter to hit the slopes!) Thank you again...

My family and I had the pleasure to spend a wonderful weekend at the Farm Home in October during peak leaf season. The hosts provided us with excellent local restaurant recommendations. We were blessed with beautiful weather and especially enjoyed ordering take out sandwiches from the Butchery and taking them back to the Farm Home for a picnic outside. My young child was particularly pleased when playing in the leaves and going on a hike that was easily accessible right from the Farm Home property. The hosts have established a welcoming, warm and inviting environment in a truly picturesque location. Perhaps the most notable feature is the Farm Home’s location—conveniently situated within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, yet a private and quiet setting.
