RJ, the executive director, is incredibly accommodating, full of heart and has a palpable love for nature- you can't help but feel like you're taking part in something awesome when you book an overnight or extended stay. Just got back from a weekend at the Chittenden Hut. Beautiful spot and incredible hut. Clean, well outfitted, warm, lots of places to hang your wet stuff, ample solar lighting, maps, great trail network, didn't see a soul, no cell service (yay!!!). Great place to really get away from it all with friends without really roughing it since the hut is just awesome. Great job VT Huts! Really looking forward to visiting...

Vt Huts nuts is awesome and the staff are super helpful. We rented the new cabin on Camel's Hump last weekend. The land owner and 3 happy dogs are welcoming.
