Lower Bar — Restaurant in Stowe

THE VIBES! Fell in love with this casual hang. The white cran cosmo was so good (definitely indulged on 3, whoops!). The chips and dip was incredible (the fluffiest chips ever!!) . Also really love that it seems like this place opens earlier than other spots in Stowe (at 2 instead of 430-5). Our bartender/server was the coolest guy ever. I don’t know if this place does open mic night or trivia night or something but it definitely could be the vibe for that. Felt so welcome here. I had so much fun here that I forgot to take more photos. Absolutely recommend. Oh, also… Really enjoyed that they were playing classic rock from the 70s and 80s. Just a...

My partner and I stumbled upon the Lower Bar last Saturday and we loved our time there for a few drinks and eats. The food was generous in size and tasty. The drinks were numerous and efforts were made to pick nice glasses as well as cute garnish. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest and nicest smelling ones I've visited. Lastly, the staff were fantastic, they interacted with us and made us feel so welcome and cared for.

We hope we can be back when we visit the area again.

I have to add that I think the name is so cool and the decor looks fab, so really, what more could you want? Go, you will be happy...

I totally underestimated this place's food offerings. After a couple of fine ales, hunger set in, and I caught the chef's attention to ask "how spicy are the wings." He said 'no cumin' and I said 'make them crispy.' I was full and completely satisfied with the wing quality and flavor. The blue cheese dressing was good. Perhaps in the future they will provide some carrot sticks to balance out...
