Five Below — Local services in Stratford

Grand opening is in August, but they are open to the public as of July 2023. I go to gym in this center, and happened to see people going in and out, so I pulled in too to check them out. I go to the one in North haven often, so I was excited to see what this one had. First I think it's a bigger store than NH. I think they have more variety of products too. It's brand spanking new so the place was immaculate. I was greeted at the door. I grabbed a cart and just made my way thru. Clothes, makeup, perfume, snacks, drinks, school supplies, toys, workout gear, incense, toiletries, house supplies home decor, storage, lamps, hair supplies, pet supplies, gift bags, coloring books, paint supplies, crafting...I was like a kid in a candy store. My one and only complaint, now hear me out - it's a new store, in perfect condition, unspoiled by the ins and outs of kids and shoppers --- the staff is newly hired locals... then why are they walking around with sagging pants, sloppy shirts half in, half out... looking like they rolled out of bed. Take some pride in your store! In your job! In your SELF! My goal would be to keep that place looking as great and in order for as long as possible and making sure I was put together right along with it. I just feel like in no time this place will be a mess. I hope I'm wrong.

Also, the self checkouts seemed to all be down at the moment. But the staff was handling it well and getting us rung up. So no complaints about...

I don’t understand why the store has self checkout yet us customers can’t use it we have to all wait in a long line for one cashier to ring us out for all that take the self checkout out and add more registers and more cashiers to check the customers out give more people job offers or allow us customers to do...
