So my daughter wanted these specific Adidas shoes for school and relocated them in Wadsworth Ohio which is where we live and we went to pick themup and they were a little too big but they didn't have the size that we needed which was a 10. So the store was closing We ended up leaving and locating the shoes online in Medina at their store so the next day I was going to be in Medina I stopped at Kohl's to get the shoes however I couldn't find them. The website said there was one pair left and I was determined to get these for my daughter because it was the only thing that she had requested new for school which is amazing in itself. After about 15-20 minutes still couldn't find them and then I saw the worker in a shoe department and his name was Jason. Jason is absolutely amazing. He went out of his way literally for a good 25 minutes looking for these shoes He looked in every corner he looked in the back he looked upside down he climbed over boxes He literally did everything to find these shoes looked him up on the computer to see there was one pair left and we couldn't find them anywhere. I said it's okay I'll look at another store blah blah blah He said I'm so sorry and I said you are so nice... thank you, you're so kind etc etc. So I leave and go to another area in the store to do some shopping and about 5 minutes later I see Jason coming towards you and smiling ear to ear and he said I think I found her shoes. So he leads me to a mannequin and I looked down and the mannequin is wearing the shoes lol so he takes his mannequin down like a pro strips off her shoes and I said oh no they look kind of small And he just looked at me and we both grabbed the shoes and they were size 8.5 by this point I was about to cry it had been an hour and a half still no shoes and now we had a half naked mannequin on the ground with no shoes. So I said thank you once again and he said well as you walk around look at the feet of these mannequins they may be out there somewhere in the store so I did with no luck and about 5 minutes later I see Jason's head again smiling ear to ear almost running towards me and he comes around the corner and he's holding the shoes in his hands. He found the shoes on a mannequin on the other side of the store and brought them to me. He didn't give up and after 2 hours he found the shoes I needed. I was thrilled He went to find the box from person's office that puts the mannequins together and he returned about 10 minutes later carrying the box put the shoes in it for me and said have a good day. One of the nicest people I've met in a very long time and he did not have to do all that he did... yet he still did. My biggest thank you to Jason and I don't know His last name but he is at the Medina, Ohio store so if you happen to be near...tell him you heard he can take a mannequin down in 2 seconds and steal her shoes... In the picture is the naked feet of the mannequin lol and then of course...the sought after...
Read moreTo hear of the experience my mom endured while at this location is appalling. She walked in at least an hour before close today on July 7th to use her khols cash and shop even beyond what khols cash she had. The way she was treated by your employees is below my lowest of expectations.
Problem 1) She tried on some clothes, took the curteousy of hanging them back on the hanger and on the put back rack, only for an employee to remark to her "did you really just leave those all for me?" Excuse me? You work at khols, you are PAID to do this job and to remark to a customer you being unsatisfied with their shopping and leaving clothes even hung back on hangers is absurd.
Problem 2) my mother was walking through the store to head to athletics and at some point was asked by a cashier from a few feet away if she was ready to check out, when my mom said no and she still had some looking to do, to associate expressed dismay with an eye roll and dirty looks flashed between associates. Again completely unnecessary, you're paid until 10, at 9:30 you're still open.
Problem 3) she was rushed through check out once she got to that point of her trip and as she's going to leave the alarm tags were still on her purchased clothing. These cashiers that provided the previous attitude were so rushed and rude that they didn't take off the alarm tags, my mother tried to leave and the alarms go off. You'd think if the associates are so rude and quick to get out they might sub it with knowing how to get their jobs done the first time but that clearly doesn't happen at this location.
These listed above are REGULAR problems with a MAJORITY of the associates here. It's disgusting, to spend the money we do and be treated so poorly. I'll say, I worked retail for 3 years, I currently work in sales so I am not uninformed to what it's like to work retail. I NEVER treat any of my customers like they are in any way a burden to me or wasting my time. I'm disgusted with the way my family and many others have been treated here and so fed up corporate is getting involved.
Change needs to...
Read moreI almost always go to Kohl's for my dress shirts for work. They usually have the brand I like and/or the style of dress shirt, as well as the type of material I like. (I like dress shirts that are textured). So for years I've been giving Kohl's my business when it comes to shopping for Dress Shirts. And tonight when I stopped at the Kohl's in Strongsville, OH at the SouthPark Mall, while I was shopping for a dress shirt and tie, I noticed that they had a ton of newer Nike and Under Armor clothes available now. So I will definitely go back soon to check them out further. My only complaint with Kohl's, hence the reason for the 4 stars, instead of a full 5 stars, is the way they price their products. And I understand that it is simply just a marketing tool that they're using, but what they do is for every item they sell, they have a very high "Suggested Retail Price" and/or a very high "Regular Price"... Then they have basically every item in the store marked as being "On Sale", and it is my belief that this is done this way to give the consumers the feeling that they are saving a lot of money because everything is "On Sale". (They even have their Cashier's always circle on the receipt and tell you how much money you saved!) Don't get me wrong though, you can get some very good deals from Kohl's, especially when you have one of their coupons to use, like 30% off or something similar.
But to me, I just feel like, can't they just start with a Normal "Regular Price" and then have a smaller percentage of savings? I mean sometimes it's just ridiculous when you look at the "Regular Price" of a shirt or something like that, and the Original Price Tag has it listed at something outrageous like $55.00! To me, it just makes me feel sometimes like Kohl's is thinking I'm that dumb or lack that much Awareness, that I'll totally believe that a simple Nike T-shirt is going to cost me $55 to begin with. Sorry, just my rant for the day I guess. Lol. Kohl's is awesome, go...
