For several years now, this store has been my absolute favorite for sports and recreational equipment, a fondness that began when I first stumbled upon Sierra in the scenic heart of New Hampshire's mountains. Their offerings are a cut above the rest in terms of quality and affordability, especially when compared to other competitors in the market. But what truly sets them apart are their extraordinary clearance prices. These deals are not just good; they're exceptional, providing unbeatable value that doesn't skimp on quality.
Moreover, shopping here aligns with the exciting TJX model where nothing is guaranteed, but delightful surprises are always around the corner. It's this element of unpredictability and the thrill of discovering hidden gems that makes each visit to the store a unique adventure. Whether you're a seasoned sports enthusiast or just someone who enjoys occasional outdoor recreation, this store consistently exceeds expectations with its remarkable array of products and pricing. It's no wonder I always find myself returning, eager to see what new and amazing...
Read moreWe have been to this shopping place dozens of times and I had noticed Sierra during the last couple. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Sierra is actually owned by the same group that owns TJ Max, HomeGoods, and more. They focus more on outdoor sports and apparel so I was excited to check them out. I snowboard, rock climb, bicycle, run, kayak, and jet ski so wanted to see what they might have and if there were any actually decent gear for cheap.
If you have been inside a TJ max, this is exactly the same layout. Same checkout queue, same overall store feel. Even down to the food and dog toys in the rear of the store. I was a little disappointed that there was not more actual gear available (most of the store is dedicated to clothing and apparel) but I was able to pickup a new set of winter gloves for snowboarding and exercise ball that was absolutely cheaper then what I could find on Amazon.
Overall, the experience was fine and am excited to know I might be able to grab some solid gear here at some decent prices...

DO try everything on. A lot of things end up here because they fit strange, or are cut in an odd way. But that’s to be expected. The only real complaint I have, which is more of an industry/cultural thing.. I’m 6’2 with a 32” waist and 34” inseam. Next to impossible to find anything in stores that will fit my legs. Otherwise good stride with...
