NOW, I get it. NOW, I can understand why EVERYONE hates this Walgreens pharmacy. People who've never set foot upon North American soil, will ferventlyâalmost 'desperately'âcry out with unmitigated anger, discust, revulsion... EVERYONE. EVERYWHERE. HATES. WAL/STRAUSER/GREENS...in Sullivan, Missouri. Just to be clearâit isn't the small drugstore-style-market, with it's limited space/limited inventoryâit's the PHARMACY. And it's the people behind that counter. I won't go so far as to paint EVERY individual working the pharmacy with the same, shameful brush. Time and experience have taught me that there are almost-always exceptionsâin any setting, situation, or environmentâsomeone who (even passively) remains separated from the status quo. Somewhere, quietly pressing onward, through another shift...even at the Most Hated Pharmacy in America. It is for theseâand the non-pharmacy drugstore workers, who were actually pretty okâthat a single star remains. Shine on, you cray-cray diamondsâum, (ahem)...uhâin that single star! Oh, and the "short version" of why or how I finally 'GET' it... The pharmacy staff were unapologetically unfriendly, unkind, unprofessional... UNACCEPTABLE. I was treated more like a criminal than a customer. My wishes, my CHOICES (clearly expressed, and even explained...but still requested in a friendly, respectful manner) were blatantly ignored, and proactively violated. The shades of manipulative, degrading, character assassination were nonchalantly thrown in my direction. During the entire experience, NO ONE (at the pharmacy)ânot even onceâsaid "please" or "thanks" or "I'm sorry." However... There WAS that one exceptionâthe single starâwho said "STAY COOL!" as I walked toward the door. The heat index was around 108° F that afternoon, so... Um. Thank you! "Shine...
Read moreI went on a Saturday at 1:40pm to pick-up my prescription. I realized it was 20 mins until they closed, but I had just had surgery and it took awhile to get moving.
I was ready to pay for my items but I only had Apple Pay. They claimed that all of their registers were shut down .. due to them closing soon and the only register working didnât accept Apple Pay. They close at 2; not 1:40. Why you would shut a register down that can take any form of payment and leave a register up that has limited payment options is beyond me. I asked to check out at the front; however, they told me that wasnât allowed. I tried to have my prescription transferred to the Walgreens I normally go to (Washington) but since it was a controlled substance, transfers arenât allowed (pain pills after surgery). Since the hillbillies here at this so called Walgreens shut everything down and would make no exceptions, I had to go all weekend with no pain relief. This scenario reminded me as to why I have everything sent to Washington, even though I live 5 minutes from this âpowered by Walgreensâ pharmacy. Itâs trash. Rude staff. Dingy. Not nearly as many services to offer as a true Walgreens. Save your time and have your medication...

You don't call someone after you got one part of their script ready. Some people take important meds daily and you are making it difficult for people to do so!! Either start caring or you guys will go out of business asap. I haven't gone into the actual store part in 2 years because i went in for a Gatorade on my lunch break because I thought " oh, I haven't been in there in awhile, maybe I'll check it out." Just to have two employees follow me around and made it a point to ask if i need help 10 times within 5 minutes of being in there, maybe not even tbat long. I do not recommend this place to anyone! Go to Sinks, they are friendly, professional, and are way...
