There are new owners. I have only one compliment and that is that it’s cuter and more of a girlier vibe inside then before. However, I did not have a very great experience.. My nails were too bulky and looked as if they were too big for my little hands. I’m not sure if the girl used the wrong size or what.. On top of that, she barely spoke English so she could never fully understand anything I was saying. Just brush me off or give me a nonchalant shoulder shrug, ok, so if she did understand what I was saying, I couldn’t really tell that she understood from the way she responded, so I had to fact check.. However, . She was very rude in Spanish. Basically talked shit with an attitude directly in my face. Not too harsh to where she spoke badly of me but definitely said some things in a way that she wouldn’t have said to my face to her boss / the receptionist if she knew I understood her. I can’t speak Spanish but I have lived here for 11 years and I can understand it mostly.. smh, but that’s just a Typical day in Miami where these foreigners think that you are idiots and they can say wat they want and how they want to say it to you directly in your face because they feel you don’t understand them. Disgusted!! Secondly, I got my eyebrows done with a girl who understood and spoke English very well. We had a whole conversation about how I did not want tint. She tells me “tint is beautiful ”. I said no, not on me, I don’t want it. I lay down on the table, and She proceeds to give me tint despite having a full conversation of me telling her that I did not want it. I get up and look in the mirror and I have a big black rectangle box on my face. From my expression and omg gasps and eyes opening wide, she gets nervous and says she’ll wipe it off but I just tell her to leave it because I wasn’t sure if it was that bad until I left.. smh. Despite all of this, I still tipped the both of them. However, despite me living across the street, I will not be going back. These younger girls are just not professional enough for me and I say that only being 29 y/o. We are already in Sunny Isles, so everything is a bit more expensive, I would expect to be treated accordingly with the most top notch service. Shout out to the receptionist. Idk if she was the owner or not but she was the most professional and definitely a sweetheart. The only thing is, She needs to have a talk with her nail techs about speaking the way that she spoke in front of a paying customer even if she feels they don’t understand her because had I reacted to the disrespect to my face, it would have been very bad. I only have one pic of my bright pink, big, bulky nails of me holding a glass of wine that I posted separately as for some reason it wouldn’t allow me to post with my review and I’m not posting the pic for other customers to see, I’m posting it so the owners/ employees that I’m not bull crapping. She used the wrong size or didn’t file it down good enough. One or the two. They looked like...
Read moreso I walk into the salon with my girlfriend and the owner treats me with kindness and respect even offers me alcohol but mind you it is a façade once I get in there I get two pedicures which end up costing $80 instead of the usual 60 getting my pedicure. The reason I do that is because I have a pot a lot of pain in my lower leg. I tell her can you go stronger and she’s barely massaging my leg I’m asking my friend to translate for me and she’s telling me she’s scared to, massage it because she’s going to get in trouble last time I checked when you pay for a service you get it. The manager of this place named Barbara is an awful rude woman who thinks she can talk to customers like her children. She proceeds to go to the front and embarrass me in front of the whole nail salon, telling me I’m rude to everyone and the only person I was a little rude to was the person not providing me the service And then afterwards talking to her telling her not to talk to me she proceeds to go up to my friend and talk to her in Spanish and tell her am I gonna not pay so I know she said when she tells me I get very angry upset and then start panicking, which I told her I have anxiety, but she doesn’t seem to care about other people or anything else she proceeds it only she’s gonna call the cops and the older lady with gray hair. It’s Physical with me. Unacceptable. When you go into the business the customer is always right , avoid this place management and not that good job of a nail place I’ve been to. I’ve been to better. Just because somebody speaks another language doesn’t mean they have to disrespect you. I know I speak...
Read moreVery unprofessional staff. I have been to this place several times. The lady who does my eyebrows was unbelievably rude when around 5PM I asked for an eyebrow wax as a walk in, (they do not make appointments for eyebrows because it’s such a quick service and she has taken me several times before). This time I was told she is too busy and to come back around 6:30 suggesting that she would have time to take me then. I hung around the parking lot went to Milam’s and in my car listening to music trying to kill some time. When I returned at 6:30 she had apparently started another client and couldn’t give me the time of day after I had wasted my entire day basically waiting around, I was sent away once again. They also don’t do gel nails like many other salons do and I only do eyebrows and eyelash extensions here because it’s affordable but the quality of work isn’t the greatest. I don’t do eyelashes often so once in a while it ends up being worth the money for me personally but like I said others may not agree as you can see all of the one star reviews here. Overall in my opinion the staff are extremely rude and obviously don’t value their clientele. I deff think they are around 3 stars most days which is the rating they have here on google now but I am giving two stars because they absolutely could care less about my wasted time. Unbelievable...
