I have been taking English lessons at Mila Language School with my teacher since last January 2016 every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thanks to her teaching skills, I have been able to improve my written and verbal language capabilities tremendously as never before. Thanks to her teaching skills I have positively impacted my position at work. No other teacher has kept me motivated to learn and I believe the rest of the class has a similar opinion. No other teacher has ever created such a pleasant learning atmosphere in the classroom as she had. The quality of a language school is evaluated as good or bad depending of the personal experience each student has had with the teacher in the classroom. A teacher capable of offering such a motivating and professional learning experience is a valuable asset to any language student and should also be valued by the language school who employs them. Mila Language School has removed such an asset from the school with total disregard for the impact that such a change may have in the learning process of the class as a whole perhaps under some burocratic technicality. It is not a janitorial staff that has been replaced. It is someone who has created a bond with the students through patiently making us confident to express ourselves in a such an important second language as English in this country. It takes time to create this bond, breaking the ice and establishing a positive learning atmosphere encouraging us, the students, to learn and be able to apply the learned skills into every day situations.
