I’ve lived just five minutes away for the past five years. I hadn’t ordered from this restaurant in a while because the sushi has typically been average—about a 3 out of 5. I recently decided to give it another try and placed a takeout order.

When I arrived to pick it up and tapped my card to pay, the transaction didn’t go through. Rather than handling it discreetly, the staff member loudly announced, “Your card was declined!”—drawing the attention of everyone nearby. It was an unnecessarily embarrassing moment. I explained that this didn’t make sense and suggested the payment terminal might be the issue. A second staff member chimed in, also loudly and with a snarky tone, saying, “We’ve been using it all day.”

Eventually, I asked to insert the card instead—payment accepted instantly. Clearly, the tap function was malfunctioning.

As someone who has worked in hospitality, I believe moments like these should be handled with discretion and professionalism. If a card doesn’t go through, the goal should be to help the customer resolve the issue quietly—not to publicly call them out, especially when the issue is with...

Today I visited the worst restaurant in my life.

SERVICE first! starting from the entrance, you are met by waiters who are not friendly at all, and even more so by the hostess (if you can call it that), a person who does not seem to know how to speak, not even a word of good day. the first impression of the interior is an old establishment that has never been renovated. second - courtesy and service. if you want to charge your phone, be prepared that you may be refused. it got to the point where there is no place to charge the phone, because they thought it was a waste of energy)) the third is service. it was only 4 pm on the clock, but it seemed that the waiters hadn't slept all day, without energy, without emotions. having been to hundreds of institutions, I have never met such a thing anywhere. THATS how bad the service was. AFTER waiting for 12 minutes, they never approached us and did not take the order. completely disappointed with the establishment had to leave! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this...

I had the sashimi plate: the fish is good, but the cut is lousy: clearly too large and not entirely defrosted evenly.

Everything else is a disaster. Calling the ungodly sweet noodle pad thai is a disgrace and dishonor to the beautiful nation of Thailand: too too sweet, noodles too hard, and somehow I tasted strong hints of ketchup and peanut butter… in a “pad thai”. Chef would be tried for treason in Southeast Asia.

The sushi and chicken dinner was a total miss as well; the sushi rice had too much water and all mushed together that makes you feel like you are eating wet play-doh. The chicken has clearly had its body hidden away in the freezer for many moons: dry, flavorless, tough as a piece of cardboard. Pieces of the chicken pierce into your mouth as you eat it, perhaps this is the chickens last stand in protest of how it’s sacrifice had been humiliated and wasted by the awful cooking.

I suggest the owner fire everyone else and just work on sushi bar. Waitress also...

Happened upon this place by chance, as my boyfriend and I were in the area, at the beach. We were looking for restaurants nearby and, at first, walked into Sandbar at the pier. We had a round of drinks and decided to leave because the prices were insane. Walked ten minutes down the street and found our favorite sushi spot in Miami! We’ve both lived here our whole lives and had no idea this place existed. We welcomed immediately by two friendly staff members and greeted by the people making sushi at the bar. This is some of the best sushi we’ve had. We tried the tuna crispy rice, super tuna roll, the red samurai roll, the drunken noodles and the coconut soup. Everything was amazing. Not to mention the prices, everything is so reasonable and the quality is outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for the experience!!!

If you read my reviews, I only order the Philadelphia roll (on the photo is Heat Roll, my wife ordered it), and I am a big fan of these rolls because I love the simplicity and bright taste. So these rolls are definitely included in the top 3 best sushi places. They are large, very meaty, lots of Philadelphia cheese. What else should be in these rolls?! That is why I love small cafes at the plazas, instead of the famous expensive restaurants where you get thin sushi, and instead of a piece of fish, you are served a small slice. This place definitely gets five stars. I have not tried other dishes, but my wife is in love with Heat Rolls. But the last time they forgot to put masago caviar. This did not spoil the dishes, but in such details, you need to be careful, often they create uniqueness.

Just moved to the area & glad I found this place! Food is fresh. Staff is super friendly & helpful. They actually answer their phone. A lot Of Tai places don’t Answer their phone. Only thing I didn’t like is that they only deliver with Uber eats or this other co but admitted it’s not very reliable & takes a long time, wish they delivered food themselves. I love their poke bowls & they will substitute if there’s an ingredient you don’t like. The pad tai was delicious. My son liked their Chicken noodle soup & the sushi is great too. No complaints on their food At all! I’ve eaten there several times now & just order on the phone & do pickup. Love it & I will be back again!
