Ive held this back for long enough and something has to be said.
Sproutz, this specific location to be exact, since I have not eaten at any other location has been in a steady decline for about 4 to 5 months and continuously displeases me each time I go. Everything from having the chicken protein plate with a side of avocado and Tomato that tasted off, to a single chicken breast I ordered from the add ons section of the digital menu being lukewarm in parts of it and dealing with possible food poisoning for about a week after eating it, to my final item on January 11th Wednesday night around 9pm. I had placed an order for a $16 and something cents regular size smoothie plus around a $2 tip and I had recieved a room temperature smoothie lacking multiple ingredients I had added to it, this was the last straw when it comes to ordering a smoothie here atleast, no pun intended, that I will put my mouth on. I never eat in and if I do the service is mediocre but it's to be expected from places such as these, it's not a high class restuarant obviously. There have been multiple occasions where a takeout order would be made and the name will not be called leaving me to wait an extra 5 minutes, regardless of the time taken, in any case there is no excuse to be made, when something is ready it should be addressed to the customer. When it comes to them serving you for take out the presence they give is very bashful or sometimes even entitled as if my tip for takeout does not suffice and appeal to their senses, and of course I choose the minimal amount because it is takeout, and do not expect any salutations that you otherwise normally would in a well operated business. The expression on one of the womans faces is infuriatingly complex, and so unsightly, it roughly translates to uninviting and hasty perhaps entitled as well? Either way we do not need this unnecessary expression shown to us in the morning nor at night. Please be a compassionate person in the service industry and try your best without the ego it's a really simple sacrifice to make otherwise this industry just isn't for you. There are a litany of occasions involving quesadillas or having something as simple as blueberries not added to a menu specific smoothie to smoothies being watery, and a variety of other menu items ordered with issues not worth listing here as they all revolve around the first 3 descriptions of my experiences here and have happened consistently. The workforce is young, and distracted, they are friends perhaps and mess around whilst making smoothies, I understand, these days it is difficult as I am some of their ages but there is no excuse to be careless when serving food or drink that someone will ingest because it can be life threatening in some cases or cause severe discomfort and sometimes be debilitating for a short time. This is a very unfortunate circumstance for a business like this in our city but the lack of cogniscent individuals working here is bringing it down, and if there is anyone to blame it is the leadership or lack thereof for this horrendous service. A specific woman I rarely see there I believe is in charge or is the owner of this location. If there is no improvement in my final visits at this location whatever is wrong with this location will have to be reported to the Florida Department of Business and Professional regulation because this is just not right, and no one else deserves a bad meal they paid for especially whoever is generous enough to leave whatever tip they happen to give or atleast can...
Read moreI recently visited Sproutz in Sunny Isles and overall, it was a great dining experience. The supermarket/food area is located in a prime location, in the heart of Sunny Isles Beach, with a casual and modern atmosphere. The interior is clean, brightly lit and decorated with a mix of modern and rustic elements. The food options at Sproutz are simple and focused, offering a variety of options, including burritos, bowls, tacos and salads, all made with high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the burrito, it was loaded with fresh and flavorful ingredients, such as, rice, beans, meat, and topped with delicious salsas and guacamole. The service at Sproutz was friendly and attentive, the staff was always willing to help, and they also offered a great selection of ice cream flavors and toppings, which was a great way to end my meal. Prices are also very reasonable, making it a great option for those on a budget. In terms of atmosphere, it's a casual and modern, with a clean and well-lit interior, which makes it perfect for a quick and casual lunch or dinner. In terms of photography, Sproutz is a good spot for capturing some great shots of the dishes, the food is well presented and the lighting is good. Read moreI am a huge fan and eat here on the regular. It is the only truly healthy place around the area. BUT I will have to say, since they made the change from Carrot Express the quality in the food has gone down a bit. I hope that you guys can take this criticism to help your business as I am someone who used to order every week and now I do sparingly. The chicken is very, very dry and very plain, not seasoned at all. When cutting into the chicken it is still a bit pink inside. I stopped ordering the wraps because the chicken is so dry that it ruins the entire meal even after dumping a whole sauce cup on top of it. The platters used to come with super fresh pico de gallo and a nice portion…Today, there is a spoon full of pico (mostly juice from the tomato) and the tomatoes seem not as fresh as I have seen in the past. The Cilantro lime dressing is now thick and lumpy; it used to be light and smooth. Lastly, the red onions that you put in the chicken salad now turn your chicken bright pink…I almost dumped the dish out because it looked like uncooked chicken. (Just something to take into consideration.) I truly believe these are easy fixes that you should take seriously as I have been getting the same feedback from others. Thank you and I hope to be a...
