This is a hidden gem. I almost don't want to post this review because I don't want to ruin it, however, I would be doing humanity a disservice if I didn't share such knowledge. The restaurant at the back is where the magic happens. It serves a variety of Mexican lunch foods that have become my new addiction. I regret deeply the past two years that I worked just around the corner and had no idea of its existence. So far the deep fried chicken taco rolls (get with everything) and the carne tacos have taken my soul. If you get the carne tacos just know you can buy it by the pound and they will give you everything on the side to feed roughly 3 - 4 adults. This place has instantly moved its self on my top 5 list of all Mexican restaurants in SoFlo. They are so convenient, open at 5. I’m not Spanish but from the Caribbean, and they stock many of the items I need. I was hesitant at first but decided to go in, Yolanda greeted me as soon as I stepped in, I asked if they sold fish, she directed me and I got some really fresh fish, I found okras, bammy, ackee, codfish, spices and all the seasoning I desired. I’ve been going back ever since. I had one issue and during my checkout Yolanda asked how was my day, I told her and expressed my displeasure. This place was my favorite for Tacos!! Then they kinda died down, had employees that were rude and just didn't care so we stopped going. Recently we really missed it and decided to give it another shot and boy are we glad we did!! They have this new guy there running the kitchen and man!!! He Def improved things. The tacos were incredible again!! Barbacoa was delicious, asada was delicious, the chicken lacked a bit of flavor but still not bad. Guacamole was too chunky but that's just personal preference.
