I bought my DKV home (Sea Breeze) in October 2017 and fell in love from the moment I pulled into the driveway. DKV is not your typical "cookie cutter" home, as its curb appeal offers a mixture of a craftsman house with a key west style finish. The inside (3 BR/ 2.5 bath...approx. 2600 sqft) is open, bright, and exudes character. My kitchen is the epicenter for hosting parties with its large island finished with a light granite countertop. The French doors leading to the covered deck allows me to both use my grill in all aspects of weather or relax on a rocking chair sipping early morning coffee. The master bedroom is exceptional! The walk-in shower is enormous and the free standing bathtub is heavenly! I cannot say enough about my DKV home because it has exceeded my expectation. I must say however, that my favorite aspect of purchasing a DKV home is not the home itself but the service that comes after the home was purchased. Doug and his team do not just build you a home and move on to the next customer...they continue their relationship with you as a home owner to ensure you are happy with their exceptional work. DKV finds a great balance between a semi-custom yet affordable home. The floor plans are fantastic, with each model offering something unique. Having purchased from a big-box builder in the past, my wife & I were very happy to find high end fixtures & finishing work as opposed to the builder grade junk of the National builders use which you’ll probably end up replacing as soon as possible anyway. We have been very pleased with the construction quality with only minor finishing issues which are to be expected with any new build but the DKV team has been quick to reply to emails.

Having purchased our home at the peak of the pandemic we experienced a number of challenges in completing the construction & closing process but the DKV team went above & beyond to ensure that our buying process went as smoothly as possible & it really gave us the comfort that we made the right choice with DKV. This is a level of personalization that you can only get from a local builder & in my opinion that’s worth a lot.
