Legacy Café — Restaurant in Taos

Wow… just WOW!!! So going to give all a breakdown of the experience of Legacy Cafe

Customer Service ⭐️ #10 out of #10 Charlie was outstanding Food ⭐️ #10 out of #10 Green Chile stew!! Hot Dog!!! Crab Salad Sliders!! Mac & Chesse, Flat Bread Cheese pizza!!! We had a little of everything but of course we will back for more the next time around!!! 😂 sooner than later!!! Ambiance ⭐️ #10 out of #10 these are just a few pics of the space… The Souls behind this amazing place… yep there was Tom McCarthy and his Brother and his wife sitting enjoying themselves and then Tom starts talking about all the artwork, photos and signs for the last 120yrs of business in the plaza on the walls. Then walks in Ruthann and Brad…. The Rockstars of Legacy Cafe!! What a great time!! and Ky Quintanilla off the hook food!!! As fast as people coming in they were going out with full and happy bellies!!

We visited the Legacy Café today for a late lunch. We had planned to eat elsewhere on the Square, but the restaurant was closed and though we were disappointed to hear that initially, we found Legacy and it was a great great experience.

We both ordered a Panini and both Panini’s though different were excellent. The bride had a ham and Salami, With smoked Gouda and I had a roast beef and pastrami with pepper jack We both wash them down with an organic lemonade that was tart and delicious

Service was spectacular, And the staff was engaging and as pleasant as they come. They were also highly efficient.

The decor is unbelievable. So many small details making the place really special, And the old photos and the wall mural truly helped the café to live up to his name legacy. The bathroom was amazing with Top-flight decorative painting..

We would recommend the legacy café to everybody. It is going to be a go to place for breakfast and lunch on the...

We were excited to have a casual dining place in Taos as it's so limited here...especially for locals. I will share that my Greek salad was anything but a Greek salad, it was a general store bought mixed green toss with a few olives and not Greek dressing. I was fine with it but when my partner ordered a Panini with roast beef and the beef was left off, where it went turned us both off and will never return. The server and owner got involved to fix it, when they returned to our table with the SAME EXACT sandwich (bite taken out and all) with just some weird looking lunch meat tossed on - that was enough for me.
