Been a customer over ten years, went in to this store this week for a promotional deal they offer on the website which was " GET A FREE PHONE WITH A NEW LINE JUST PAY FOR 1st month QUALIFYING MONTHLY SERVICE" they have maybe 3 options for free phones a few samsung and moto branded which are offered free on the website for new customers. Did the process online on the metro website and decided to pick the option to pickup from local store. When I proceeded to go to this store location I told the man I wanted the new customer free phone deal and he assisted me with a samsung a16 5g but when it came to finalizing the deal he told me he could do it for $180 out the door, and that's practically what I did I went "out the door" because that was not wat the metro website promised me, when I told the man that wasn't the promotion I was promised, I was expecting free a16 with 50 dollar unlimited plan and maybe a 15 dollar activation fee but he refused and word for word said " No we dont sell just the phone by itself it comes as a package deal with case screen protector and charger box then offered a "discounted" total out the door price of $150 which was still too much..how does metro offer deals online and send u to locations to pick it up that supposedly have these offers but when I go it's a complete hassle.. As a veteran customer I am disappointed in what metro authorized dealers are doing to this company.they don't follow the rules and don't care about actually getting people to commit and use this service instead they are more worried about how much commission they can make and aren't even worried about actually helping customers in need. Avoid over paying at this "authorized dealer". You'll be stuck paying $120 dollars in obligated accessories for a free phone you should have just paid the first month on. I recommend everyone to look online for deals before committing to pay at an authorized dealer because they'll make a 50 to 60 dollar honest deal into a 150 to 200 dollar deal to pocket the...
