Honestly the worst experience I've had in a long time eating out. First, when we came in this man was sitting there, minding his own business and this lady who works there comes and asks him what he's doing. He says he's waiting on somebody and she asks how long. He tells her just a few minutes. She says well you can't wait here more than 15 minutes. He asks her why. She says if he hasn't bought anything he can't just sit up in here. Now, they're not busy, there are plenty of seats. No real reason he shouldn't be able to sit there but he says he's purchased something already. Once she was satisfied with those answers she started walking towards me. My husband is up at the front ordering and I'm just sitting in the back waiting for my son to get out of the bathroom. She then starts asking me if I'm going to order anything, ifnthats my family at the front ordering. I said yea. She just said ok and walked away. I'm just like wow she is so rude. The couple who were sitting in the booth next ours turned around and were like why is she acting like that. No clue but it was very off-putting. The word inhospitable comes to mind. So my husband orders me a bacon king, no ketchup. As he's waiting there for the food the person at the drive thru got the wrong burger. He asked them to check ours just to make sure it was right. They checked it and said it was right. We sit down to eat and notice the bacon King has no bacon. He takes it back, gets a new one with bacon. I check the burger and there is something wrong with the cheese. It's the consistency of mustard and has a weird sweet flavor to it. I can't eat it. My husband sends it back and asks for regular cheese, not whatever they had put on it. Well, turns out they had actually given us the new Philly bacon king - I definitely don't recommend it! They give us an actual bacon king but this time they put ketchup on it. We had to send it back again. By the time we got the right burger I had lost my appetite so didn't even eat the burger. Such a disappointment all the way around. My husband did say he was impressed with the way the manager handled it all tonight, said he was kind and...
Read moreHas always been great eating in, but today I brought my order home. Every other time a five-star experience in the NEW store.
German cockroach with my take-out order! It was crawling on one of my wrapped chicken sandwiches when I pulled it out of the bag. Unmistakenly a female roach. Very glad I caught it so it didn't wind up reproducing in my apartment! I think it's time for bug spraying over there.
[Added two days later]
I was in there today and brought this to their attention. The manager was summoned and she came asking me what the problem was.
I told her and she immediately declared, "I guarantee you there are no roaches in this store! The roach had to have come from your car."
Well, only problem with that is...I ride a motorcycle and do not own an automobile. My motorcycle does not have roaches.
Another manager (or assistant manager, whichever she is) came into the conversation suggesting the roach came from my home. I don't have roaches or bugs except the occasional gnat that gets in.
I ate my meal whilst it was still hot and the roach was already inside the bag, which was rolled tightly so the french fries wouldn't spill out, when I opened it.
I think that is pretty arrogant for them to insist that I'm the one who has roaches. They did reluctantly say, "Sorry for the experience."
The place is new and it is quite tidy. However, I notice that they do have areas that would attract roaches. For one, I noticed a few weeks ago that the bottoms of the screens where they take the orders, both of them, there are crumbs and tiny bits of food embedded between the glass and the frame, very visible to customers but not the ones taking the orders due to the angle from which it can be seen from either side of the retail counter.
I was extremely well-treated by the corporate customer relations. That the restaurant is a vast improvement over the old building and for the way in which this issue was handled afterwards, including excellent business practices during the mitigation, I have vastly improved my...
Read moreIf I could put zero stars, I would. I walked to this location to get breakfast with my 5-month-old son as it is very close to my house and I get take-out there quite frequently. The service is never very outstanding, but it is usually acceptable. However this time I walked in and there was nobody at the registers to greet me. After waiting about a minute to be acknowledged and failing, I asked if there was anyone working the front. The woman manager walked slowly out of the office and took my order. She didn’t have a very positive attitude to begin with, but once my card was declined and I explained it had to be the system as I had just put money on it, she became rude and hostile. Her attitude began to fluster me. As she rudely yanked back the items she previously handed me, I threw my empty paper water cup back over the counter in a panic as the situation was getting out of control and I wanted to get my 5-month-old son out of there (who was strapped to my chest in his carrier). This provoked her to pull her fist back like she was going to hit me, and after asking if she was going to become violent while I had my infant between us, she jabbed her finger into my right eye and the employees on duty pulled her back from the front counter. She was an inch or two away from hitting my son in the head when she reached for me. I was in shock and by the lack of professionalism and appalled by the fact that this Burger King employs people who will assault and threaten loyal customers. I can guarantee while this woman still manages this location, I will no longer feel comfortable dining here on a...
