SoBoL USF — Local services in Temple Terrace

Strong, new contender for my favorite açaí bowl shop! I used to only go to one other local store because quality of the base at other stores would either be too runny or too sweet or there wouldn’t be enough toppings or fruits. This store checks off what I’m looking for in an açaí bowl: smooth but thick base, good quality and variety of fruits and topping, generous portions of toppings.

Ava (cashier/server) was also so helpful and wonderful! She provided us with samples and offered helpful suggestions! She also informed us that healthcare workers get their standard bowls at a discounted price on Tuesdays! They also have an app that allows you to earn rewards!

The place was very clean and I was greeted by the nicest girl at the counter. Sophia was very helpful in helping me decide so I got a strawberry and banana smoothie, an açaí bowl and the jalapeño egg bites. Everything was delicious and tasty! Very fresh and refreshing to eat and drink in this Florida heat! I dined in and Sophia had checked in on me to see if everything was OK and asked if I needed anything, the only negative was the seating. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable but other than that I highly recommend you go and try it...

Such great service! Workers greeted me with such positivity as soon as I walked in. The worker taking my order asked In advance to me and other customers if we had any allergies. I in fact have a nut allergy and they went above and beyond. The owner explained to me that for anyone with any allergy they specifically cut all new fresh fruit and use fresh utensils to avoid any contamination of the food that the customer is allergic too! How considerate! Truly great workers, service and atmosphere! Highly recommend this place...
