When writing reviews we all know it’s about the adjectives a person uses that weighs in on our decision to buy or not to buy. So, if your looking to buy yourself a new recliner, I got two adjectives for you, La-Z-Boy and Lafferty’s! In 1927, two farmers built their first La-Z-Boy recliner in a old garage in Monroe, Michigan and now in 2021, it has been modified and perfected to be the best built recliner on the market. And to prove this point, La-Z-Boy backs it up with a lifetime warranty on most of their work. Then we have Lafferty’s who has been a well respected business in Texarkana for 50 years now and what comes with that is the best customer service you’ll find anywhere! They have proven that they are not here to make a buck and move on but have invested 5 generations of family to serving Texarkana. When I bought my recliner, due to backed up delivery, it would be a week before it got delivered but promised if they could get it sooner, they would, two days later I was relaxing in my new La-Z-Boy. Mark Lafferty himself sent me an email apologizing for the delay and if I had any problems to call him personally and he’ll get it taken care of. Lafferty’s to the rescue! Our fridge gave out the week of Thanksgiving and we had just did all our grocery shopping for the holiday; we were in a panic with dry ice in a broken fridge and hitting all the local appliance/ hardware stores! A friend told me to come to Lafferty’s and we did! They treated us like Family with exceptional customer service and a willingness to earn our business and same day delivery and install! No other competitor did that they were three days out on delivery and some were over a week out, not to mention I got a US made fridge and a deal on it as well! The Lafferty’s technician went far beyond and even helped me move my old fridge to a new location just incase I wanted to have it fixed! What a business model! Customers still come first...

I have a plaque in my office which states, "If you are pleased with our services please tell someone, if not, then please tell us so we may address the problem". I try to practice what I preach, hence this review.

We bought the appliances for our new home from Lafferty's 23 years ago. I am pleased to say all those items are still in use and functioning fine. I think this attests to the quality of merchandise that Lafferty's offers. Recently, I bought an outdoor grill from Lafferty's and had a minor problem with it, while it was still under warranty. The "after the sale" service I received from Mark Lafferty and his team was above and beyond what I would have expected.
