It is hard to see from the street. It is hard to find a parking space that is free nearby. Your best bet is to go there when you were on Waterway Avenue by the sidewalk cafes. After you eat and you can take a walk along the Waterway and the koi pond is there. It is a very nice and relaxing walk. It has nice bamboo and large koi fish. It is open from 8 a.m. to Sunset. Do not feed the fish. There are Park Rangers that walk along the Waterway it makes it feel very safe. It is an island off of the main Waterway. There are boats that go along the main waterway that you can ride for $5 each for all day. A very relaxing setting lots of benches to sit around and contemplate. Read moreTop notch koi pond open to the public! The ponds were well maintained with a selection of koi that were alright. Not show fish, but certainly some lookers if you've never seen pretty carp.

It's very japanese, a blend of art and functional design. If it's convenient to stop...
