Some Saturday nights they have live music and fireworks at 9 p.m. it is between the Westin hotel and the Marriott Hotel. Plenty of parking in the parking garage and the parking lot I think it's about $5 otherwise two blocks away is some street parking. Very clean very well maintained. Lots of sidewalk cafes in this area most meals are $10 to $15. It has a tranquil and fun feeling to the area it appears to be very safe in the day and at night. 1 block away is the Multiplex movie cinema. Behind the movie theater is the Woodlands Mall a very nice Mall. Many restaurants to eat at in a nice place for a stroll after your meal. This is definitely worth the trip here and nice to spend the day. I have been here before and recommend it to anyone. Tip. Look at the signs out front of the sidewalk cafes some offer...
Read moreIt was extremely hot when I went. I went on a Sunday. There is absolutely no shade for there to be so many trees. There are a few simple photo opps. There is basically a trail alongside the water. I never made it to the end of the trail because everyone was so extremely hot. I never saw a trolley pass. We walked for maybe 1 1/2 hours. With a picture here and there. But the heat was just too hard to manage. We stopped around the huge brown bridge further down. But decided that was the turning around point. If there was something great past that point I wouldn’t know it. Decided to call it short and turn around before everyone passed out. Night and non humid months may be better to navigate. But I did see a family on the swan ride on the water. I would possibly give it another try under better circumstances. There are hotels and restaurants right alongside the park. More of...
