I went in on a Friday morning as part of a bridal celebration for my best friend. It was pretty busy and although we didn't have to wait long to get a chair the nail technician I got took longer than the usual because of the interruptions.- I believe her name is Helen, who must have been the manager because she answered the phone and walked up to take payments every time someone was at the front, she made calls on her cellphone and seemed to be taking care of everyone else....Don't get me wrong, my nails turned out great BUT here's the best part...We ended up paying over $40 dollars for regular gel manicures, my sister who got acrylics and a small triangle design on black nails ended up paying $70 dollars. NOT once did they mention that additional designs would be charged by the hand, and its nowhere on their menu either.... and yes I know designs are usually extra but I have never been charged by the HAND, its usually a set fee for design! but we went along with it, whatever. Because I was done before the bride, I went and sat next to her, I could see she was unhappy. She wanted a design on her ring fingers, the guy told her it would be $40 PER HAND...yes $80 additional dollars because the design she wanted was going to have to be a transfer of some kind.... she mentioned she would just go to her usual nail salon and get it done for $10...which she did by the way because nobody at this place cared that she was unhappy!! not only did she bring 6 of us to this place but she was the BRIDE!! and she was UNHAPPY!!!! she asked the guy several times to make her nails an oval shape...she asked if he could clean under her nails because she could feel product in there...nothing....no response from this guy at all. When the sister of the bride mentioned that she was unhappy "Helen" mentioned that the nails looked fine to her.....she wasn't going to do anything. Not only that but when the sister of the bride asked for a discount on her nails and mentioned the price disclosures Helen responded with an attitude...We told her we would make sure to review the place online so SHE CALLED THE POLICE!!!!!!! Not once did the bride receive an apology, not once did we get loud of cause a scene or refused to pay, but if the bride wasn't happy something had to be done! Calling the cops was completely unnecessary, and ridiculous, all we wanted was a discount for the bride since she was now going to go to another salon to do what they wouldn't.. Needless to say, we will NEVER go...
Read moreWhen I originally walked in, I was greeted and asked what service I needed. I told them I needed a rebase. She rudely asked if I had an appointment which I did not. She said I could have a seat and someone would be out soon. When I was approached by a tech, it seemed as if I was an inconvenience to be there. Conversation during was not very friendly at all and I had to explain a few times that I wanted pink and white rebase. He, the tech, had someone else come over to understand what I needed and wanted which was fine. He also continued to move my hand and arm throughout the entire service without asking me to do it myself. He continued to huff and puff throughout the entire service as well as if doing my nails was a hassle. At the end of the service, I was not asked to wash my hands and he hurried through the filing etc, which now all of them are uneven and I am very disappointed in the quality. He told me to have a good day and walked to the check out counter where he told me my total which was very expensive for a rebase. I felt like I paid for a full set. I feel like I was an inconvenience to this place as well as over charged. While at the check out counter, my tech as well as another tech began speaking to each other while laughing and the other tech was attempting to look at my nails without being obvious. I am going to another salon to have my nails re done so that I feel comfortable presenting my nails. Not very professional...
Read moreThis was the first & last time I go here. I usually go to another salon but had maintenance done.
A scheduled appointment, 35 minutes late to attend me. I wanted specific shellac nails with design (marble effect). Off the bat she said, “I’m sorry I cannot do that for you.” I tried making it simple for her as I understand some nail techs do not know how to design. She agreed. As she was prepping my nails she was complaining about what she’d have to do. “I do not recommend on shellac. Too much work into the design.” “You want on ALL NAILS?” “It’s going to cost you more money.” Very agitating. I’m the one paying for what I want! I showed a different picture for more of a simple design. Two different colors. She continues to say she cannot do those two colors. She recommended to do one color on one hand and the other color on the other hand. OMG! Worst experience. I blocked her out with my AirPods at the end I was so mad. She seemed so hurried with her work.
LATE. UNPROFESSIONAL. CAN’T DO...
