Avoid this hotel!!! I'm actually surprised reading the positive reviews, we had so many things wrong, it seems like we stayed at another location. Yes, I did speak to the desk, twice. Yes, I did email them after. No satisfaction, but they were very pleasant and responsive. We were in the VERY last room, 426, on the top floor, almost felt like it's always neglected! We were satisfied with our room, except the TV was very dark - no, there are no controls in which it could be changed, so we contacted the desk - they finally just moved us to 424 - same problem. It must have been the signal, as the tv was unwatchable and we finally gave up. (Another couple complained of this on the elevator.) Yes, we agree with the desk, this is not an emergency, but, we did pay a HUGE rate staying here, as there was some kind of farmers convention in town, and we did not receive what we paid for, but apparently that is not to be expected???? No offer to reduce our rate, no offer to even credit our account for $10, nothing! In the second room we had the tv issue plus : 1) an unclean room, hand prints on the bathroom wall, mirror in the room had a bunch of fingerprints on it, not sure when it had been cleaned 2) tile piece was missing in the bathroom, just looked tacky, shower curtain was all wrinkled and not fresh looking 3) the pillows were small and almost square and horrible 4) the breakfast left much to be desired 5) there was so much light visible around the door, truly almost an inch of hallway light around the door, apparently no seal around it? Isn't that a safety issue? ||Yes, I did email them, and yes, I received a "thank you very much for your complaints" response, we will do better, which is not satisfactory.||||We won't stay at any...

Where do I start? Nothing good about this hotel. And I’ve stayed at plenty. I don’t expect perfect by any.means.

We were told the rooms were being cleaned that’s why we had to wait to check in. Ok so we waited 3 hours to come back and check in. Go up to the rooms ( I had 2).. the furniture looked like animals had tore it up. There was syrup all down the wall, all over the desk chair and all over the bench. Someone’s hash browns were on the floor next to the TV. There was chocolate on our beds as well as the curtains. And the room smelled musty. In our second room the air was broken and the room was 75 degrees… Front desk service was mediocre at best. The lady acted bothered by us checking in. My children who are very well behaved and respectful said out loud” ooh I like those stairs” in the lobby. Her response was yeah well they aren’t for you. In a rude snappy tone. My children know not to play on them. When I came back down stairs to complain about our rooms the lady didn’t offer to comp me anything she was just short with me and so was the manager.. they did switch us rooms thankfully….. I would never stay here again and thankfully it was just one night. We check out at 11. At 10:34 house keeping just came in while I’m taking a shower. We still Had time to leave. I wish I wouldn’t have invested any money to stay here if I could give negative stars I would. Conveniently located by i 75, lovely respectable staff members who informed me of a great fishing hole nearby, and very clean rooms. We had previously that night checked into a best western motel a further ways up north in GA and got scared off by an invasive bug so we packed our bags, called country inn & suites to make a reservation - checked in pretty late so we asked for a late check out and our wish was granted. Id recommend this hotel to anyone! Its clean, no bugs or roaches of any kind. The rooms were spacious, bathroom was large and clean, and the ac worked well. Free breakfast which i cant speak on bc we slept in but its there and available. When I walked in to get some water at 10 am it look clean and well taken care of. Really happy to have found this place and to be taken care of by the nice male staff member on duty that night. We believe he helped us out tremendously and without him we couldn't have made it to our daughter's 8 year old birthday celebration on time in florida and given her a day to remember. May god bless him as he has blessed us! Hotel is also pet friendly and the property is well taken care. The room did not smell like pet odor either. The room was quiet and the bed was spacious and so very comfy. Thank you country inn and suites for keeping your hotel up to date, clean, and well taken care of.
