Canteen — Local services in Tigard

EDITED TO ADD: I have yet to receive my final paycheck which I should’ve received 11/10/25 and it’s now 11/12/25. THIS IS ILLEGAL IN OREGON AND THEY DON’T GIVE A CRAP!! I was also lied to by the local payroll person and the corporate payroll and HR don’t seem to give a crap either. I’m filing a BOLI complaint against them for this.

I worked here for a week. I still hadn’t received my computer and was told it could take up to two weeks because it comes from their US corporate office which is in North Carolina. Their IT Department is also in North Carolina so if you have computer issues on the west coast you can’t get any help after 2 pm Pacific time. I never received a job description and there was no training plan in place. I got the impression that I was supposed to figure out my own training. If I had a relative that behaved like Canteen services our business I would have them evaluated for dementia. For the last 10 years they have disappointed us nearly every week. It is truly amazing how not showing up, not delivering what we need, and delivering too much of what we don't need enables them to keep this contract. Never, ever hire them unless you like frustration. The drivers are personable and friendly but I have the sense after 10 years they are being set up to fail us weekly. Worst customer service ever. Called and complained multiple times about the machine breaking and taking money without giving the product. Every week they sent their "senior" tech out to "fix" the machine only to have it breakdown the same week. After multiple calls to complain they show up stating the tech was verbally abused.
