The WaitStaff Team — Local services in Tigard

I've waited several weeks to write this review to ensure I had a complete picture of our experience. After speaking with multiple guests, it is clear that the only major issue with our wedding was the bartending service we received.

Initially, the bartenders seemed friendly, but their demeanor rapidly deteriorated as the evening progressed. They were rude to our guests, lied and said that we had run out of alcohol (despite us receiving over 70% of the bottles back), and included a tip jar despite our contract explicitly stating that we had already covered the tip. Although we received our tip payment back, the whole point was to avoid passing this expense onto our guests.

Additionally, they requested IDs from guests after already serving them, seemingly because they no longer wanted to serve them. They spoke disparagingly about our attendees and made unprofessional comments about the supposed age of the guests, despite there being only 5 children out of 135 people.

Their attitudes became increasingly hostile, even in front of the groom, particularly when a guest requested another drink within the allotted time for hard alcohol. I've rarely seen a friendly face turn so frustrated so quickly.

Prior to the service, I'll mention we were also charged an additional, non-refundable fee for reserving a bartender without prior warning. When we inquired about this fee, we were told it was non-refundable just for the reservation and not for the service. Moreover, they verbally promised to handle dish cleanup but later claimed it would incur an additional fee as it was a separate service.

Given these issues and the lack of transparency, I strongly advise against using this vendor, especially the bartenders we had. This was the only significant disappointment of our event. All other vendors would receive 5/5...

We worked with the WaitStaff Team for our fundraising event at Castaway Portland. This was mostly a keeping things tidy/collecting dishes/help with setup/takedown kind of gig, not sit down service. They did a fantastic job!

Cassiopeia was the team lead. She was incredibly professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. She also directed the team well. Oliver was another one who came early to help set up and was particularly kind and helpful. Everyone on the team took initiative and I never once had to step in or over explain anything.

We had around 200 guests plus vendors, so our party rental order was extensive. When we run this event, we normally have to pay quite a bit after the fact due to cleaning fees and damaged/missing dishes. This was the first year we used the WaitStaff Team and it was also by far the LEAST we've ever had to pay upon reconciliation of the rental order! They did a great job of putting the dishes back in the crates and minimizing damage and cleaning fees. Their service was money well spent. We won't work with anyone else for this event if we...

Absolutely amazingly, positively unbelievable in every wonderful way! It would be impossible to say enough great things about how amazing Daniel and his team are. We were incredibly lucky to find you all and are so grateful you were a part of our party! From start to finish in the planning process through to the main event, they are beyond exceptional in every single way. Hands down - the BEST service and people I have ever experienced in any city, in any state . I'm still so blown away by how helpful, kind, professional and amazing each person on the team is. You all just knocked it out of the park and I want to have another party just to see you all again! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING - You made this event a success and without you it couldn't have happened. I really hope each of you know how amazing you are individually and as a team - you could seriously charge 10x as much for the lengths that you all go to! Really, really special people....
