Tigard City Hall — Local services in Tigard

If I could give zero stars I would. I got a ticket from camera at a light and had been paying the ticket down. I've been in every month and had less than $50 to pay. I went into their local office and they sent it to collections saying that I had not paid in 60 days. This was flatly untrue - I knew which window I had been at less than a month before and exactly who I had paid (I believe his name was Coby, a larger man and it was around lunch hour). I had last paid in cash and when I went home to find the receipt I couldn't find it. 100% that I made the payment as agreed and it was simply not applied.

This is extremely inappropriate. It was not a lot of money and I was going in to pay it off. I will never, EVER pay this. TO the person who took my payment, gave me a receipt but nevertheless did not credit the account - I consider it Theft. I'd let it go if it wasn't going to appear on my credit report.

I was targeted by the police for being an out of state resident and given a fine although I was operating my vehicle within state and local laws. The court hearing was a joke. The judge and officer smirked the entire time. When I asked the officer to show his body cam footage he started yelling at me in the court room. I attempted to file a formal complaint, but the police Sargent is taking their sweet time. I reached out to elected officials and have heard nothing. The city is operating as a corrupt entity and allows cops who yell at citizens in a court room to roam the street...

I love Potso park, primarily because of the small dog section. There is definately a sense of community when you start to visit regularly. I do wish it was open more hours during the week, especially in the winter. Hopefully with the recent purchase of the park we'll get more access. Occasionally dogs visit who are not suitable for off leash rough-housing, and there needs to be a number posted so we can deal with them without confronting...
