The staff member was very rude. The employees do not wear masks and the facility does not take any Covid precautions. When I asked them to wear mask and stated that 1000 nurses have died from Covid taking care of Covid patience the employee said “oh well that’s there job”. I was so upset at her cold response to this statement I will never shop there again. I went to the Catholic Church office and asked to talk to a priest. He was not in but I reported it to the secretary. I told her that it was the least Christian comment I had heard yet from anyone. These nurses died and had to leave behind their children, spouses, parents fiancés and other loved ones. Her comments were so insulting. I told the secretary at the Catholic Church that Brevard Christian Charities required masks of all people in facility and that they had COVId shields up for protection of employees and patrons. I hope the Catholic Church does the same in their thrift shop and I hope they teach their staff Christian Compassion I have been generous in my donations in the past to st teresa thrift. Never again. These nurses commitments to saving and caring for lives was amazing working double shifts, sweating under all the PPE with blisters around their face shields from rubbing their skin—and then to die-and this staff person saying Oh well...
