TJ Maxx Central, located next to Costco, is a brand new store that offers a clean and organized shopping environment. With a large selection of products, it provides a decent shopping experience. However, it is worth noting that the staff at this particular TJ Maxx follows stricter rules, especially when it comes to returns, which may differ from other locations, such as the one in Spring Meadows.
The cleanliness and organization of the store are commendable. Being a new establishment, it is evident that the management takes pride in maintaining a pleasant shopping atmosphere. The layout is well-designed, making it easy to navigate and find desired items. The wide range of products available ensures that shoppers have plenty of options to choose from.
Nevertheless, one aspect that disappointed me was the stricter return policy at this TJ Maxx location. As compared to the Spring Meadows store, which appears to be more lenient with returns even if the item has tags and a receipt, TJ Maxx Central strictly adheres to their system's inventory. If an item does not ring up in their system, they will not process the return, as I experienced with a hoverboard purchase.
I had bought a hoverboard for my son, but he didn't open it until three years later since he was not old enough to ride it at the time. Unfortunately, the hoverboard abruptly stopped charging, and I went to TJ Maxx Central seeking assistance. Despite having the brand-new, slightly-used hoverboard in its original packaging, the store manager refused to work with me on the return. This was in contrast to my experience at the other TJ Maxx, where they gladly accepted the return without any issues.
