There's a lot of lebanese and other mediterranean restaurants to choose from in Toledo and this seems to be another one. Nice atmosphere with 3 tables and good service. My steak kabob sandwich was ok (comes light tabouli, light sauce, light tomato, light hummus, light pickle) the steak was cooked nicely but the sandwich was mostly bread and steak. My wife got the gyro and the meat was delicious and Full of veggies, meat and sauce. The issue i had was the sauce was supposed to be tzatziki but was thick and had a lot of dried (not fresh) mint. So it was more of a dried mint yogurt and i couldn't taste any citrus or cucumber. We got the tenders for my 4 year old and you could taste the old fryer oil. The fries are unseasoned and room temp (thawed frozen) so they were kinda deflated and flavorless. I have other things to add but none of that seemed like employee side issues. Full disclosure I do work at a lebanese restaurant that is NOT a competitor of this spot.
suggestions: 1. Tzatziki should be made with a high quality lebne, fresh mint, lemon juice, fresh cucumbers, fresh parsley and fresh onion if you like. never dried mint The steak kabob sandwich was good but it needed more pickles and veg. change your frier oil when it starts smoking. if you aren't going to cut your own fries try to source a nice seasoned fry. BBQ sauce isn't kjust etchup mixed with...

I can only speak to the quality of what I ordered. The good: the Garlic sauce is excellent. Sad it doesn't come with any pita, but hey, I get it. The Bad: My Fiancé and I both ordered fattoush salad with meat. I ordered the beef shawarma and she ordered the chicken. Firstly, the chicken on her salad was Extremely dry. (We are talking jerky dry, not shawarma dry, you could line the bottom of a hamster cage kind of dry), and it had no flavor to speak of.) Nextly, the meat on my salad was extremely dry and tasted heavily of just lemons. (Think loose sand with a lemon pledge flavor)
Add this to the fact that when I saw them making our salad, I mentioned to them that the lettuce was rather rough and heading toward more brown than green; this was responded to with a shrug and continuing to pile said lettuce.
The girl behind the counter was very helpful and even ran out to give me something she forgot to pack in the bag. I appreciated that. I just wish that level of care extended beyond her.
That said, I get that not every day will be perfect. But this was well below what they use to do. If I can bring myself to go back, it will just be to get the garlic. Sadly...
Read moreFirst time trying this restaurant late last night. Them staying open late is genius. It takes the monopoly out of the very few late night options we have available to us when we’re unable to cook at home. Also they’re halal (high quality meat) which only adds to how amazing this place is!!
Comments are correct their garlic sauce is the best in town. The chicken is dry like others say but if ordering late in evening it makes sense as to why. Their traditional method of cooking meats is rare to come by in our area as well. Just dip it in extra garlic it’s totally fine for the trade off this place offers. I would assume it’s cooked perfectly if ordering during the day.
When entering establishment I immediately noticed how clean everything was. Staff was very friendly and helpful despite us arriving 40 minutes before close. We appreciate the hospitality, cleanliness, and how amazing the food is for that time of night. We rarely eat out because fast food is trash. But on nights we can’t cook, we will 100% be exclusive customers. I wish this establishment the most success. Thank you guys for quality food at late hours, you are changing the game for...
