Unfortunately, my experience seems to reflect what others have shared. The blonde sales associate (easy to identify, as there were only two working that day) was shockingly rude. I brought my 11-year-old daughter in to try on a pair of pants that actually fit her quite well, aside from the length. Instead of receiving help, we were told, rather bluntly, that âthis isnât a kidsâ clothing store.â My daughter was so embarrassed that she started crying.
I didnât want that to be the lasting impression she left with, so we stayed a little longer and eventually found a skirt that fit her. After she tried it on, the same associate approached again and commented that my daughter could wear things here âin just a few years.â We gently responded that she had already found something that worked for her. Remarks like that, especially when directed at young girls still growing into their confidence and self-image, can be deeply hurtful.
All customersâregardless of their age, size, or appearanceâdeserve to be treated with kindness and respect. A welcoming environment should never depend on whether someone looks like the âtypical shopper.â These moments matter, especially to young people.
Whatâs most concerning is that multiple reviews mention similar behavior from this same sales associate, yet there seems to be no meaningful effort from management to address it. It makes me wonder if she is part of management herself, which may be why no corrective action has been taken. If thatâs the case, itâs even more disappointing, as leadership should set the tone for professionalism and customer care.
On a positive note, the brunette sales associate was incredibly kind and welcoming. She made us feel seen and valued, and I would absolutely return to shop with her in the future.
I sincerely hope this review encourages reflection and real change. A little compassion and professionalism can make all the difference.
Edit to add the visit was on June...
Read moreI won't leave one star because it's a nice store, but the store owners must be very paranoid about shoplifting and its very scary walking in𼲠This was a bit ago, but i live in tombstone and had gotten into a bad argument at home so I decided to go walk uptown last minute. Walked in and who I assume is the owner immediately started following me, even standing less than 2 feet behind me just staring for around 5 minutes. I work uptown so I understand how we have to watch out for tourists stealing items, but I explained that I live here and came to look around, and also that I had forgot my card but would be back if I saw anything (which does sound a bit suspicious, I was just in a hurry leaving) and I just got ignored and stared down like I was a criminalđ I started complimenting the jewerly and tried to be super nice to make it less awkward, but I just got glared at until I leftđ maybe its because im still young so I looked like I didn't have the money for anything in there (even though I do..) but the whole thing was kinda off-putting. Other than that the store itself is nice, did find a cute shirt I'm just scared to go back and...
Read moreIf I lived anywhere near tombstone this would be a go-to place for me. So many sparkly things. I bought a broomstick style skirt that I have been wanting for years and couldn't find anywhere else. I love this store and will be back if I ever find myself in tombstone again. Which I probably will đ¤ˇââď¸ I'll find an excuse to come back.
I love the merchandise here and I will come back for sure. I will say however that we were followed around the entire store by one of the associates (she was probably 5 feet behind us the whole time, makes it awkward to shop and look at stuff). I work in retail, so I know why, I see a ton of theft and if I see someone sus I tend to keep a close eye on them. But I don't keep an eye on people who aren't sus đ usually it's people with big bags who are being shady and weird and very alert about where employees are. Just maybe have your associates be more about customer service rather than (not very subtly) following customers throughout the store fixing racks that are...
