Amanda helped me process a return. She was rude and unprofessional. Did not greet me. Furthermore, when she looked at the merchandise she said “this is not ours” even though it was clearly in American eagle packaging from an online order with tags. We went back and forth at least three times as I responded “yes it is.” She finally turns to whomever I believe her manager or trainer with the tongue ring was (you can tell she was new) and the manager confirmed that yes, the merchandise obviously belongs to American eagle. Amanda then proceeded to say the only return method she could offer me was store credit. I knew this was wrong as this was well within the return policy. The manager then had to correct her to process my return back to the original payment method. This review is not based on her being new, but rather her poor attitude from beginning to end. Read moreOn April 10, 2025, I was given incorrect information by a staff member during my purchase. Following their instructions, I returned to the store on April 11 to use a coupon, as advised. When I spoke with the manager on duty around 7:00 PM to clarify the conflicting information I had received from different employees, I was met with hostility instead of help. I calmly explained that I was confused and just wanted to understand the store’s policy, but the manager responded by threatening me and telling me to leave the store.
What made the situation even more concerning was that when I asked for her name, she refused to give it to me and actively hid her name. She then began yelling at me to leave the store and loudly instructed her employees not to assist me. As I left, I felt genuinely concerned for my safety due to the aggressive and escalating nature of her behavior.

I asked for help if there are any other sizes because there was a box with the size I need for those pants. I asked if I can see this size. The salesperson said sorry you can’t have that. I got angry and asked for the manger, The manger came, TOTALLY was unprofessional disrespectful. She gave me an additude and told me to not touch that when I needed the size because the pants looked sick on me. I told her it’s the same thing and said is it ripped I can take it to the cleaners for repair. She said to leave the store. I was purposely treated like garbage who does this to a customer.
