Update to my initial review: So I reached out to Customer Service. They said "We appreciate the feedback. We recommend downloading our App so that you can earn points/rewards for your purchases. We do hope that you come back and give us another try!"

Are you kidding me. Now, I'm not looking for a free handout or coupons but You're recommending that I download your App to earn points/rewards? WTH. How detached from reality is this company???? I just told you that your cookies need to be improved to warrant a $2.00 price. Clearly, GAC's CEO needs to improve the Customer Service department. It might have been better for Customer Service to do some in-depth research into how the cookies can be improved.

I just went to The Great American Cookie at the Palisades Mall and boy was I surprised by my visit. First off, the place was immaculate and even though they were busy, was greeted at immediately by all 4 of the workers (their names were Stephanie, Valerie, Marlene and Jamie). Two of the workers were on their way out and they still took the time to greet and talk to me. I ordered 4 cookies and they offered me a great deal-if I purchased one more they would give me a 6th free! The cookies were fresh, warm and unbelievably delicious. I think these were the best cookies I’ve ever had (especially the Chocolate chip and Lemon ones). They even asked me for my phone number and told me about a great rewards program they have after spending a certain amount. They were so friendly-I’m not used to this type of service from anywhere these days. it’s a shame because this place sells some of the best store bought cookies you can get but the service is just atrocious. they hide the cookies 2 hours before closing for some reason. and when i asked the girls behind the counter if they had any left and they sarcastically said “no they’re all sold out” yeah right, i didn’t believe that for a second. and the last straw happened yesterday when i bought a cookie for my daughter and she dropped it on the floor right in front of the employees because the cookie was so soft it just fell apart in her hands. the employee noticed and said “would you like another one?” i was so grateful until she said “that’ll be 2.59” look i get that it wasn’t the employees fault but they could’ve easily used that opportunity to earn a 5 star rating...
