I used to love going to Staples, I used to go all the time when I was getting my cartridges until I got a different printer. However, today I went in to get something laminated, and the guy was all confused as if he had never worked that section before. I was a little hesitant, but went through and he assured me that they could laminate it. Then he told me he couldn’t have it done by 3 o’clock when I wanted to pick it up. I came at 10 o’clock in the morning. I figured that was plenty of time to laminate two pieces of card stock bulletin board paper . I had to pay for express to be able to have it done by 3 o’clock, which was ridiculous in an hour. I got a phone call that says he can’t laminate it because it’s too big. His machine is only 23 inches and my project was 27 inches and that was the same as my laminating machine where I work. It was a waste of time then they’ve charged my credit card to find out that I said just please just credit my credit card he said no it’ll only get charged if you were to pick it up, we just won’t have you pick it up and you shouldn’t be charged. I have a pending charge on my card now for two days and I’m going to have to call them to get it situated and make another trip down there. Do not go to Staples to get stuff done. If you should because there’s not many places to do ask all the questions before and do not pay ahead of time so you’ll pay when you pick it up. That way there are...
Read moreOn Wednesday October 05, 2022 I visited Staples to fax a document. I entered the store in Clifton Park NY around 6:00 pm. I walked over to the fax/scan/copy area and went to an available copier. There was a woman probably 60 years old who made eye contact with me at the copier next to me and asked me if I worked there. I said no and laughed since I was wearing tie dye and jeans. Then I asked if she needed help. She said yes and she has been asking the girl behind the desk for 30 mins to help. The staples customer service rep has been hiding behind her computer for the last 30 mins and not helping this customer figure out how to make her copies. I didn’t even get the chance to start my transaction and assisted this poor elderly women with her issue. At no point during this time did the staples employee get up from her computer to help. I couldn’t figure out what this poor woman wanted and finally asked the actual worker to assist. Then a male employee working for staples came over to assist. I asked why no one was helping this elderly customer and he said there was only 4 employees in the store and they were short staffed…..well sir after a whole day of doing my own job I really didn’t feel like doing your job either and the store wasn’t even busy! I would avoid this store like the plague and worst customer service I have ever seen. Would you want someone to treat your grandma like...
Read moreGiving five stars ONLY because Paula was amazing! She went absolutely above and beyond to help when I was trying to figure out how to make prints and scans. I was preparing for my parents funeral and she could tell I was beside myself. Her customer service and caring nature is impeccable and she made the experience wonderful. It was so appreciated! Joe was also very professional and helpful.
Jamie is the rudest employee I have ever seen and she was completely unhelpful. She informed me she has 15 orders before me how could I expect anything when I’m here at noon (as tho that’s late!) and took no patience to even be kind despite why I was there. I simply didn’t know the process and despite having orders she would not stop for a moment to show she was at least hearing me. I tried to explain I needed a particular job done due to the funeral being the next day and she dismissed it as tho “oh well”. She could’ve cared less and made it very clear. -0- customer service skills/ people skills and major lack of effort. I can’t even believe someone like this is out at a front counter to deal with customers. She acted as tho it’s a burden because she is busy...
