My husband and I went in to get the living room set, sofa rug, first walking into the door no one was there to greet you welcome you that was a big negative for me, but some people like that my husband, especially he didn’t want anyone to rush him. Our sales guy Tim just got our sales was fast and quick. He was very patient and informative, we went in on Saturday. Our delivery would’ve been on Tuesday. Sunday I decided to go in back to the store to amend our sale and add a few more items. which I was told by our sales guy. Tim all the items together with Saturday and Sunday would be delivered on Tuesday no problems. on Tuesday they were problems. They did not deliver the correct items. Delivery guys were I should say not rude, but not friendly at the same time nevertheless, they did the delivery and they left. The customer service called us as promised informing me that I’m not living too far away from their warehouse and they would be out with my order items in a few minutes. Within 45 minutes they were at my house this time with a pick up truck. With my other sofa on my end table, so the two older gentleman tracked my sofa into my garage along with my end table. Later that evening, my husband and I test out an inspect the sofa, the sofa legs were all dragged out, and the same sofa frame was broken. Are they the next morning we went back into the store but unfortunately the store cannot do anything for you. All they did was sent an email out to Customer Service and told us someone would call us. I waited no one so I called. They asked me to send pictures so they can be reviewed. After a few hours they called says technician is going to come to see what he can do to fix the sofa the following day. We were determined that it was a brand new so far we bought we do not want a technician to come out and fixed a sofa. They need to replace it, customer service was also determined on giving us notes on their policies and educating us about purchasing methods even using examples of buying cars getting damaged cars. No matter how much you try to support the small box stores, mom and pops stores. It’s getting harder to do so Now because it’s hard for people to admit or just to say I’m sorry I understand what you are going through or I apologize I’m here to help you be sympathetic knowing that your customer just spent thousands of dollars in your store and you would like them to come back. Instead, you’re giving them a lesson. A ways, The technician came out on Thursday looked at the sofa determined we needed a new sofa. Customer service called schedule a delivery for me the following Tuesday told me that they cannot do another early delivery for me because their trucks were” over loaded” I guess I didn’t calculate the inconvenience. They put me and my family through keeping the broken sofa for them for all those days when I was told I was not far away from their warehouse. Tuesday delivery day. Read moreWorst experience of my life is with this store and Ashley furniture. I wanted a new king size mattress so I bought my first one from Ashley which is the Old Brick sister store. That bed was awful and did not feel like the show room mattress! The second one after the return came from the old brick store! This was even worse then the first mattress it’s left us with a stiff back and I have an operation coming up where I will now spend thousands again on a mattress from an actual mattress company. We actually contacted our bank about this store and Ashley’s with all the rudeness and the fact they refused any other help after trying two beds that feel nowhere near the show rooms comfort! My husband tried going into Ashley’s and working with both stores they refused to help and claimed the first mattress had a stain when it was picked up. Good thing I was smart and took pictures because they inspected when they came to get it! I would stay far away from both stores in my opinion and don’t ever buy a mattress because it definitely will not feel like the ones in either stores show rooms! Unfortunately this will probably turn into a small claims court or my bank fighting for my money back but we have decided not to let this go since we dont want any other person having to deal with such awful sleep and paying thousands of dollars for lousy service and products! I have a huge business of my own and I know I would never treat or misguide any customers the way these two stores do! We made sure to ask the clerk at the counter in both stores if the mattresses would absolutely feel like the ones in the show room and they guaranteed us they absolutely would. Please read the reviews on Ashley’s store page before buying from either one since it’s the same owners! You will definitely see the reviews and the same problems others has had with the store as well did. I only wish we would have looked at the reviews prior to purchasing most people don’t have the money to just repurchase a mattress and I believe that’s why we have decided to make an example out of these businesses and managers so they can not take advantage of low income people paying with their hard earned money. Read moreMy last update On September 17 I received both pieces. The head rests are not the same, the filling is like half of what the others are. I’ve reached out to Brian several times with no returned call. Shocker!! I just wanted to make him aware, I will not be trying to return them. I’m over the 9 month fight, next time you spend 4 grand on furniture think about going somewhere else. Old Bricks customer service stinks!!

Update #2 I received a call from Brian last week and was told my delivery was going to be HERE THIS WEEK, it’s Friday at 330 and I’ve heard nothing. Don’t put your fake reply on here Old Brick and expect not to be called out on more lies! Your customer service is horrible. I implore anyone reading this not to do business here. 8 months into this nightmare
Update on my experience My delivery was in early January and we found a couple defects. On January 29th someone came to our home to inspect said damages. He then agreed 2 pieces were in fact damaged and new pieces would be ordered and shipped within “a couple weeks”. Now the nightmare begins I started calling Rachel in March, I got nothing but the run around and untrue responses. Moved on to Donna who seemed interested in helping, but then stopped returning my calls. I spoke to a gentleman who I was told was the store manager. Come to find out this was not true. He was unbelievably rude so I then asked for a district manager. I spoke to Brian and he apologized and asked if I would give him until the end of the day to find out what was going on. Brian did call and asked for 2-3 more weeks and the product would be in, he promised to call. 5 weeks later still not a word. I called Brian and he said he needed more time, mind you it’s now July! I have never had such horrific service. Shame on you Old Brick! You can come pick up my leather furniture because I’m done with your lack of customer service.
