My husband and I have eaten here for many years and were dismayed that our food was terrible this past Friday when we were accompanied by a couple of friends. We started out with the fried calamari and this was a total disappointment... it was rubbery, tough & not that edible. *For an Italian restaurant to have such a basic thing be so bad 👎... had I never been there prior I would never come back. We will NEVER order that again. Our drinks were good and our friends enjoyed their salads.

Dinner is where we were it went wrong for my husband & I... I had veal parm w/spaghetti & the pasta was not even al dente ( it was not cooked much at all) the veal was tough and as I cut unto the 2nd piece of it it tasted like it was drenched in olive juice... gross tasting. I left the rest of it because I got disgusted. My husband ordered the Chicken Scarpiello and unfortunately it was drenched in lemon. This is not the 1st time my husband has had this dish, he has had it at other Italian restaurants in Westchester and never had it tasted this bad. He didn't eaten more than a bite and left it. My friend's husband even commented on the strong scent of lemon from the dish as he was sitting next to my husband. He called the waitress over and explained the problem, she saw that the dish was barely touched & offered to replace it, but my husband did not want anything & asked to have it removed from the bill. The waitress asked if I wanted my dinner wrapped to go & I declined. My friend had to change out the Angel hair pasta for penne w/ garlic & oil because the angel hair was like a clump of pasta.

We know that Fridays all restaurants are busy but receiving bad tasting food is NO excuse. It will be a long time before we decide if we will ever comeback for dinner or refer...

This is such an adorable place. Came on busy Friday night, but was able to be seated immediately. We ordered a bottle of rose, the caprese and Caesar salad. The tomato and mozzarella for the caprese were very fresh. We don’t like tomatoes much, but those were tasty. The Caesar was great as well and not heavy at all on the dressing. The bread the serve is good too. It’s a bit heavy and doughy; but I liked it. For my entree I ordered the chicken francese with spaghetti. It was delicious. A perfect taste of lemon in the sauce and the sauce was not too thick but not too watery. The chicken was juicy and the spaghetti was cooked perfect. My group enjoyed their pizzas and the chicken palermitano. They give you a good about of food, so we took the rest home and enjoyed it the next and it was still delicious! The service was okay, but a bit all over the place. We were asked to switch tables halfway through our time there, which we didn’t mind, but we were then sat in a tight corner. People kept bumping us as they walked by and we felt we were kind of forgotten about. When we swapped tables they said they’d bring us new water glasses and never did, although we asked 3 different people. That was the only downfall of our experience, but we’d still visit again. The food is good and the...

The food is ok. I have eaten at this restaurant a few times over the past 16 years. It's not a place I consider a favorite; however the food is consitent. I went last night. I will never go go back. The seating is too close for comfort if you like a little privacy. I attempted to order a margherita pizza. The waiter began to tell me what a margherita pizza is. I say, "ok yes, I would like a margherita." And he continues to 'mansplain' what it is (I am a man, and felt insulted) and begins explaining what the other pizza options are. I once again stated I wanted a margherita pizza. My wife then jumps in and also tells him what I am trying to order. The waiter says ok. And of course, I get a traditional cheese pizza. I informed the food runner, who said he'd tell the manager. I accepted the food anyway. The pie was ok, really not great. The manager never came. I just paid and left. I left quite disappointed, defeated, depressed, and discontented. Not a bad restaurant overall, I guess. But, I will never go back. I just don't understand why I was not allowed to order what I wanted. You should serve people the food on the menu they would like to be...

can’t express enough how exceptional our experiences at this restaurant have been! If I could give them 10 stars, I would do it without hesitation. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, creating the perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. It has become our go-to place, and every visit feels like coming home. The staff is genuinely amazing, creating a warm and welcoming environment that keeps us coming back. Our server, in particular, goes above and beyond. Not only does he provide excellent service, but he has also taken the time to remember our favorites. It’s those personal touches that make this restaurant stand out. Discovering this culinary gem has truly enhanced our dining adventures, and we feel fortunate to be regulars. If you’re looking for a place with outstanding food, a cozy atmosphere, and exceptional service, this is the spot! Cheers to the entire team for making each visit memorable!

Great tasting huge pizza and pretty good gelato enjoyable in a restaurant with a nice garden like ambience. The staff were also helpful and they have a nice wine collection, gluten free and cauliflower bases, pasta, soups, appetizers, salads etc. The large pizza slices (under $5 mostly) and gelato ($6 for 3 scoops) are a great deal while other items have decent prices. The pizza crust was more on the soft side (still had a slightly crisp bottom) and had a good amount of sauce & cheese. I needed two hands to have the first few bites. Among the gelato flavors (they have a total of 18, 2 vegan sorbet) I had, I liked the Amarena (black cherry) and the raspberry sorbet the most.
