I absolutely loved Bombace wine while living in Farmington because of the selection and close proximity it is to home for my husband and I. We also really love one of the workers, as she is always polite and is happy to see me alone or when I am with my husband to shop. However, when it is just me or me with my friends, I have had two issues with some of the male workers here. The most recent incident happened today. Me and two of my friends had went into Bombace to look for a specific Riesling as we had it at the New York Beer project earlier in the week and enjoyed it. After looking through the New York specific wines where we knew we’d find it, we checked the Riesling section just in case. A older male worker came up to us and asked “Do you need help finding anything? Or are you just looking at the pretty labels?” My friends and I are all in our mid to late 20’s, and we know that it is typical for younger women that just started to drink to look for wine that might look pretty. He also rudely said “well it would not be over here you need to go to the New York wines.” We felt insulted by what he said to us, and were annoyed walking out of Bombace. Living in the area I have always went in to this liquor store because I usually have a good experience, but I am becoming really frustrated with not knowing now if I will have anything said to me when I am alone or with a group of women my age, because this is now the second time something like this has...

A real ID is what you pay extra for for traveling. I explained this to him kindly then he wanted to call the state troopers to verify my id. What a waste of time I do not recommend this place the guy with brown hair tall and slender that works at the desk is a...
Read moreIt's a good liquor store with tons of selection, 1/2 and 1/2 on customer service. There is a lady named Vicky(?) who is extremely nice and recommends things. Then there's a pretty rude guy on the taller side who has kind of miffed my girlfriend and I on several occasions. If you mistakenly decide to make small talk with him while checking out he will stare at you with zero smile, not respond, and ask if you want a receipt. I feel like I'm renewing my license with him...
