Very clean … everyone seemed friendly enough. I only stopped in for a quick second to make a small return For something that I bought on mistake earlier this week. I stood in line behind what I thought was another customer. turns out it was an employee that was chitchatting and on her cell phone. I don’t know if she was clocked in or clocked out. I don’t care, but when the employee standing behind the customer service counter was trying to help me. The employee on her phone was too busy to get out of the way, when the employee that was waiting on me moved to the other register to help me and I walked over the employee on her phone decided to stand right next to us and talk loudly on the phone about what seem to be personal issues in uniform. The girl helping me a customer service was amazing though, but the girl on the cell phone was extremely offputting. She kept coming up behind me and like pacing back-and-forth it was super uncomfortable me and the girl at the register just kept looking at each other like what the heck is she doing? But for the small interaction, I did have and from what I saw the store it was clean....
Read morePoint Blank: Tops is not worth shopping at - without a shopper's club card. Their everyday prices are ridiculous. However, their shopper's club prices are often decent & they have good rewards and rebates on gas.
So, if you're organized & disciplined enough to only buy what's on sale, use coupons & remember to redeem your rewards - it's worth it. Not so much for disorganized, undisciplined individuals like me.
I only go to Top's in Farmington & that's because, now that Wades is out of business, it's the only full size, brand name grocery store nearby.
The Victor/ Farmington area has an Aldi's (which has almost everything you want, but not quite everything) & the Railside Market opened recently in the Village. A market which is in danger of closing down because it is small and, therefore, overpriced.
In all honestly, I also go there because they seem to be the only grocery store that has tiny carts little kids can push themselves. My granddaughter absolutely loves pushing her own cart & I am a complete pushover when it comes to my...
Read moreI have been shopping here for many years and it seems that I have had many issues with the consistency of pricing on buttercream frosting from the bakery. Ever time I buy my 32oz frosting the price is drastically different. I have spoken to multiple managers at different times and they all have a different answer. Usually the price is anywhere between 6.99-12.99 for a 32oz container. I'm okay with that. Then recently I went in and they wanted to charge me 26.00 plus dollars for a 32oz. I do understand that everything has gone up in price....but when you are charging 12.99 for a whole cake with more frosting on it then a 32oz container..... something isn't adding up....and as a manager you find out what is going on instead of saying " I don't know, but prices are going up". Then why is a cake only 12.99 but a container of frosting 26.00. wouldn't the price of the cake go up too? Something doesn't make sense and it's disappointing that there is a such a lack of drive for people to actually figure things out. They lost a good...
